Skurge the Executioner BAF Wave

Man, I was hoping EE would offer a case. They normally do and their cases come quick. I wonder why they didn't this time.

SD wishes he could just go back to forgetting that Warbow ever existed, SD was much happier then.

And listen, my ire is not because Hasbro is making Warbow. No, there have been a lot of Marvel Legends figures I've skipped over the years. My collection is a long, long way from complete. And I would very easily and happily skip this Warbow mort EXCEPT A) He's never been requested by anybody that I know of and he's part of a BAF wave to complete a very much long requested figure in Skurge and B) We can get Warbow but we can't get the Warriors Three because they cost too much and they're too obscure.

THAT is why I'm pissed about this Warbow thing. I hope everyone understands that. Go ahead and make Warbow if it makes the one guy on this planet Earth happy but then don't turn around and tell me no Balder because he's too niche. How many years have we been asking for characters like more Asgardians here? And for the love of Odin, don't force me to buy this stupid green thing to get a classic villain like Skurge. I am so sick and tired of playing that game.

SDCC is going to be interesting next year if the Hasbro guys are reading this. I don't know what they're going to make of it. But it may not make any difference. If I get out of the hobby I won't stop in their booth anyway. What would be the point?

Yeah buddy, i feel s much of that. I've never even heard of Warbow, and I been waiting how long for the rest of the serpent society? who are all super easy to make!?

But nah, need warbow, yet another spider-man, iron man, and wolverine....and only one woman in the wave...

Hadn’t visited this thread in a day. Jesus. Watching an adult have a meltdown over an action figure is something else. Literally, an action figure’s existence broke an adult human.

What makes it hilarious to me is next to Executioner, Warbow is my most wanted from this wave. I don’t care about the Crystar comics. But I had the Crystar and Warbow action figures in the 80s. Cool neat-looking toys. I think I have a fondness for green guys, since my favorite Silverhawks figure was Flashback. Green crystal guy with an eyepatch and crossbow just seems so cool and unique. Crystal based characters are rather unique and rather interesting visually amongst all these spandex and armor wearing sameness.

I don’t feel a need to know a character’s backstory. Or read numerous adventures about them to like their design and want a physical representation of them. Some of my favorite toys are ones not based on any intellectual property but just cool looking figures (imports, not mass retail lines). Hell, I love these Bandai gashapon insect and animal toys they make for a few bucks each. I don’t need to know everything about a rhinoceros beetle to enjoy a toy of it.

I think the Iron Man armor in this wave is a hideous design (black just looks extremely out of place), but other people seem to like it. And this line isn’t all about my preferences. To see someone literally lose their mind over a figure is quite the mixture of sadness and humor.

Grumpy, salty SD comics is the energy I didn't know I needed on this Friday afternoon.
It's giving Phineas Curmudgeon.
It's Wolverine. You can put his hairy runt ass in a Harley Quinn costume and he'll sell.
Okay, I might need Harley Quinn Wolverine now.

Hey, we've all been there. Don't tell me you haven't.

Just wait until Hasbro reveals this rumored Magik and she's in her Darkchilde look. You ain't seen nothin' yet.

My mind is quite intact, "Doctor". Thanks for the concern, though.

Glad you're going to enjoy your Warbow. I see you've missed the points, though. I'm tired of having to buy a figure I have no interest in to get one that's been long requested by several members of this board. Unless I want a one armed Skurge. I was also told by the Hasbro team members at SDCC that several characters that have long been requested by members of this community were too "obscure" and too "niche" to get made at this time. Yet a character who is much more obscure than any Asgardian or member if the Serpent Society is apparently not. That to me is cause to complain. If you consider that a "meltdown" than you need to go back to medical school.

Boy, you sure are sensitive about your Crystar character that hasn't been seen anywhere in 40 years. Is he a childhood fav of yours or something?

@Beamish could you edit the original thread-starting post to include some of the official images from this wave? I know you posted a few from the panel somewhere a handful of pages back and someone else posted a link to MCU collector's Instagram where they posted all the official images but it's a pain in the posterior digging through numerous pages to find them.
