Appreciated! Yeah, I actively try to not learn more things like this. But little things like.... the stripes on X-Wing wings showing which pilot it is, or of course all the Fett minutiae. But yeah, years ago I sat down and went literally frame by frame, making a spread sheet to track which trooper has which backpack, which weapon, which pauldron, who has or doesn't have the shoulder pouches, and which type, or which type of hip pouches, if any. I even know in one scene two guys traded helmets as opposed to the other scenes. (There were only six suits in Tunisia, but they kept switching pouches, packs, and weapons throughout the shoot, so it ends up being essentially 20 or 21 unique Sandtroopers.)
It's... ridiculous. And now I'm married to this idea of rigid accuracy. Right now I have two 'Sandtroopers', like I've said many times, that are actually the dirty Remnant troopers from Mandalorian, with pauldrons and one has a shoulder pouch and backpack, but they have the wrong knees, no hip pouches, and have the little hip boxes Stormtroopers have but Sandies don't. I'm purpostly forcing myself to have something that is incorrect. It's my own, tiny, passive, stupid rebellion against my OCD for accurate costuming. Heh.
But I keep daydreaming of getting two of this new orange pauldron guy, hoping they'll do black and white pauldrons as well later.
