Add me to the list of folks who don't care about bipartisanship anymore. It would be nice to have two functioning parties, but we haven't for a long time. It's past time to stop pretending the right will ever play ball again. (Biden said that when he got into office, they'd work with him. Old Democrats are utterly convinced the right will come to their senses any minute now.) In my lifetime, they've stripped people of their rights, crashed the economy all three times they've had power, and attempted to end democracy in America (going according to plan so far!). I don't need Democrats to work with them ever again.

Whenever the right does something good, like today's Supreme Court ruling, it always comes as a shock. I wonder, "what's really their angle here?"

I think there's a good chance she's the Republican nominee for president in 2028. It'll definitely be another foaming-at-the-mouth MAGA lunatic.

Rubio, Cruz, and Hawley are empty suits who will say anything to move up the ladder; I think MAGA sees through that.

Ramaswamy is too brown.

Vance has negative charisma.

Youngkin and Kemp are far too moderate.

The only others I can see are DeSantis and Abbott. They're both racist psychopaths.

I don't think Republicans will be in any position to win the presidency in 2028, but it'd be very on-brand for America's first female president to be Kristi Noem after passing on two eminently qualified Democrats for a rapist criminal. Sadly, I have kind of given up on the American electorate. They're very stupid.
 
Calling this group the Legion of Doom is giving this cadre way too much competency. These guys are the Circus of Crime.

(And after TSI's list I just looked up Barron Trump's age just to make sure he's still a kid because I could see them grooming him for politics to ride the cult.)

I actually work for one of the sanctuary cities on the list and couldn't be prouder, but also I live in a sanctuary city that they left off the list and it's like, proof the administration is run by D students who can't complete an assignment because there's only like, less than two dozen declared sanctuary cities in the state. Not a long list to complete.
 
So that list of naughty sanctuary counties has 49 of the 57 counties in California. Unsurprisingly Orange County is one of the few left off. Also Fresno, Kings, Kern and Inyo... One that caught me by surprise was in my area, Placer County. Its where some of the tonier suburbs of Sacramento are but isnt any more conservative than neighboring El Dorado County or Nevada County... so I cant figure it out.

They probably asked some AI thing to compile the list and didn't bother to vet it.
 
I'm putting this in US Politics since it's almost entirely the fault of the US: Israel just confirmed they are officially targeting civilians for their genocide campaign now. They have, quite literally and in express words, stopped pretending that the massive death toll on the civilian population is accidental. And in so doing, they have admitted in no uncertain terms that they're doing a genocide.

And it's like... page 10 news.
