Marvel Legends Preorders - When and Where

Resigning yourself to a shitty price doesn't mean the figure is worth the shitty price. This is another of Hasbro's attempts to push that price bondary.

Like its fine if you honestly think its worth the money. But much like the Masimum Spider-Man, this is one where, for me, the juice isn't worth the squeeze. If it hits discount at some point, I'll pick it up and if it doesn't that will be OK with me.
It's weird for me to price justify certain figures. I haven't bought Maximum Hulk because $60 seems too much. Yet Juggernaut is $5 more and I bought him with the quickness. Hulk comes with many more accessories, but with so much re-use, I can't justify the price in my head. Juggy has less stuff by far, but is much larger and a new totally unique sculpt, so it's more "worth it" to me. I honestly don't think he should be more than $50, based on that, and what we got with Odin, who's also all-new, but I really wanted this Juggernaut and just don't see him going on sale and didn't want to miss out on him.
 
I honestly feel like I agree Ninjak. The more I look at it, and the price, I think I may cancel my pre order for Gamerverse Juggernaut. I have the BAF and Colossus 2 Pack Juggernaut figures, and they are sized how I Invision him. Also, as I believe Justice said a few pages back, I don't like how the Gamerverse Juggernauts shoulders stick up so high.

Whereas the BAF and 2 Pack Jugg has his shoulders positioned how I want them.

Gamerverse Juggs is a cool looking toy, I just think it's one I don't have to have and can save $65
 
Everyone has to make their own decisions on these figures. I try to skip as many re-dos and updates as I can, personally. However I think this new Juggernaut and the leaked/rumored Astonishing Colossus are likely to be the new "definitive" versions of the those two characters on many peoples' shelves. I've noticed several of the 2-pack versions of both of these characters recently having been traded in loose and now being sold at a local comic book shop all at once recently. I don't know that I had seen any of either before there and now there's a bunch of them suddenly.

After months of us all having trouble with varying payment methods NOT being accepted, we added to that the joy that we are all now Bots, because none of us can pass the "push and hold" button test to pre order items.

But to add to it, today my Pulse Premium membership auto renewed. But it didn't. They said the payment method didn't work. It's the payment method I always use, and it works for everyone else. But not Hasbro. They sent me directions via e-mail on how to try again or update the payment. But guess what, none of the options are available where they say they should be at in my order history.

So, I get to call them. But not now because they are closed.

For being one of the biggest toy companies in the world.......they aren't very good at selling toys

My Pulse Premium is due to expire right at SDCC, so I tried to renew. Hell I got an email with a frikken' link to renew. But Pulse won't let me. It tells me I already have Premium. NO SHIT PULSE. Just trying to extend it to be sure to get the con exclusives! Frick.
 
I got a weird email about my payment for renewing Pulse membership not going through. A couple weeks ago I opted for auto renew. Checked that order, and it doesn’t list my payment. But when I click on the Pulse Membership button, it lists my status as auto renew and shows my correct form of payment. I even tried to manually purchase a new membership and it told me I was already a member. When I placed my SnowCAT order, all the membership perks came up, free shipping etc. so I think I’m good. But who knows, seems there are definitely still some kinks related to the auto renew option, which I believe is new this year.
 
Jeez. So, it's not just me on the Premium renewal front. It's starting to feel not so Premium. But like you guys, I am still all premiumed up as far as the site is concerned, because I have all my perks. And I can't manually renew because it says I'm already a Pulse Premium Member.

I'm just trying to honestly give these guys $50, and they won't let me.
 
Something DEFINITELY glitched. I got a renewal confirmation, then a "payment failed" email, saw my credit card on file was listed as XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-NULL instead of the last four number (even though I use it to buy something from them... well, what, multiple times a month?). Re-entered my saved payment option and then got another confirmation that I was renewed. I need to check to make sure I didn't get charged twice.

Same issue for me. If Hasbro is going to grift me by extorting me to pay them $50 a year for the chance to buy their stuff, could they at least make the grift work smoothly?

Might be the only time an auto-renew didn't feel like the company tricking me into re-subscribing but rather not knowing how to actually take my money unobtrusively. It's charming, an annoying way, this level of incompetence. After years of being extorted by Adobe for work, "oops we forgot to take your money" is actually kinda hilarious.

I canceled my premium membership last year and only use Pulse when I absolutely have to. Too much of a headache and they almost always ship product later than other retailers in my experience.
