I haven't done any generic troops yet but I think I might need to do that this week to test it out. Alley Vipers I have a plan for and I've referenced Night Creepers but they need file cards. I think I'll hammer out one of those tonight to see if they work.

I like chronological ONLY because it helps me keep track on which I haven't saved yet. BUT, since I'm falling so far behind I think changing how I maintain that isn't a big deal. I guess the only thing I would like just because of how I like to organize would be grouping Joe and Cobra's separately.

I like chronological myself because sort of by accident the cards are telling a story - like each one kinda builds off the last. But also "did I do Falcon yet?" is not easy if I'm just slapping them all together ad hoc.

Which means, of course, I need two files.

Yeah, I had that sense but you just kept going. I assume if it stops being fun, that's when it will end. It's supposed to be a quick and enjoyable break while still stretching the writing muscles.

Yeah that's the thing, this shouldn't be a job. When I was taking part in a wiki once, I had to abandon them because I was putting a LOT of time and energy into the articles rather than writing my stuff, so if Doc has to step away, I won't fault him. But REALLY enjoying them while they last and the writers room in here.

One of the primary goals of the Lewis administration was to take control of and win over law enforcement on every level across the country. For the most part, this has been a relatively successful endeavor; after years of legal entanglements and protests, empowering local forces improved their outlook on the Lewis administration significantly. But Lewis wanted and needed true loyalists intermingled iwth public servants to sow discontent, train them for the brutal tactics Cobra prefers, and monitor for signs of unrest. To that end, teams of Alley Vipers were repurposed as "police consultants" and "paramilitary contractors" and embedded in law enforcement departments across the country.

"A lot of people just need to be given a little nudge in the wrong direction to become violent, and if the biggest, baddest guy in the room is the one doing that pushing, a lot more people are going to follow him than you want to think about. Alley Vipers have always been some of Cobra's most ruthless. Now have them leading SWAT teams or consulting on investigations into civil unrest against the Lewis administration, and you've got a very big stick to club someone to death with. Add in their expertise in urban, close-quarters combat and you've got yourself a hunter-killer team in every major city."
