G.I. Joe Head Canon & Fanfic Filecards

It's been 18 minutes and no new file card, Doc. This is bullshit. Larry chased a bunch of speed with seven cups of coffee and wrote the entire '87 line-up in 26 minutes. Get to his level.

FINE @Damien:

Code Name: Tele-Viper
File Name: Various
Primary Military Specialty: Communications
Secondary Military Specialty: Electronics
Birthplace: Various
Rank: Viper Mark 2 (Specialist)

Before Rexford Lewis took office, several branches of Vipers were slated for special assignment and provided with false identities ahead of the election. One of those specialist roles were the Tele-Vipers. Experts in communications, these troops were embedded in comms teams, television studios, telecom providers, cellular network management, internet service providers, websites, and apps, enabling them to control the flow of news and information as well as maintain covert communciation between the Lewis camp and Cobra. Today, Tele-Vipers hold positions everywhere from local public access TV stations all the way up to the White House press room. Each has been instructed how and when to burn those false identities and report back to Cobra; that being said, the general public seems to neither know nor care that their information feeds are being manipulated. Tele-Vipers currently have a 100% success rate on their missions under the Lewis administration.

"Information is king, isnt it. We knew it back in the old days when you knew were a dead man if your radio went down in the jungle and you had no way to phone home; same holds true now, but that idea is writ large across the country and the world. He who controls what information you have access to rules the world, and Lewis plans on becoming king. The Tele-Vipers are a huge part of that. Now mind - our guys are BETTER. But there's only a few of us, whereas the Tele-Vipers have a virtual hivemind they're all tapped into, with redundancies, fallbacks, and emergency switches. Even if Lewis is ousted, it's going to take us decades to find all the damage these guys did."

Sorry about the flood of new cards—it was funny how writing one just turned the engine on and the others just made sense.

I finally caught up! Table of Contents has been updated through the Tele-Viper. Great stuff @docsilence and @Ru1977
I specifically told Ru to do this. Stop covering for his laziness.

Love the Tele-Viper. Now I'm kind of mad I don't own one. I almost feel like I gotta tell Doc to stop this before he costs me thousands of dollars.

Weirdly enough, writing the Tele-Viper card helped me break out of the block I had on Breaker. I'll be posting him tonight I think.
