G.I. Joe Head Canon & Fanfic Filecards

Then save Breaker for later in case you come up with something totally different, or you're gonna have to turn to the IDW techies like Shareware and Firewall.

Breaker and Dial Tone are running into the same problem I had with Recondo and Outback (and Firefly/Scrap Iron). I wait til I know how I can make them feel truly distinct from each other. Though Dial Tone is the savant who was building radios from spare parts as a kid and Breaker feels like "I learned this shit in the service" type of yeoman tech.

Cannonically, Breaker and Clutch are best pals. I think, in some way, that informs Breaker's character. Whereas Dial-Tone seems a bit more reserved. Breaker also speaks seven languages. In his original file card I think that was like 'look how serious he takes communication.' But since he hangs out with Clutch and Steeler, I almost feel like it makes more sense that Breaker is a bit of a party dude that talks to everybody and started learning lots of languages to chat up all the ladies around the world.

Basically, Dial-Tone is autistic and Breaker is wildly outgoing. That's how it works in my head, I mean.

Breaker's file card is HILARIOUSLY sparse.

"He's efficient and self-assured and has an uncanny ability to turn adverse situations to his favor."

I can't believe Helix was the 40th card from this timeline. Wonder if I can get to 50 over the Thanksgiving weekend. (I just realized with the focus on primarily figures in Classified I've hit a huge percentage of existing figures since so many of the characters in the line have 2-3 versions.)

Yes, congratulations! And this has been like a month? Month and a half?

At home I have a list of ones you haven't touched yet, but just off the top of head... They're up to almost 200 figures, but like you said a lot of those are repaints. The crimson figures, pythons, trench Viper, steel corp versions, etc etc.

So when you get to the bottom of what's been done, will you continue on?

And possibly more importantly, what form will these take when given to the team at SDCC?

I'm also curious what happened to the Troopers and Vipers. I know Bludd is still running the show offshote, but CC was what put butts in seats. What happens when your figurehead seemingly goes legit?

So I'm the only one that thinks team and color variants like Python Patrol and Tiger Force deserve file cards? Fine. I'll just see myself out then.

Part of me feels really guilty that we've got a professional writer over here just giving us gold every day for free, and probably using up at least some of his creative flow in the doing of it.

That is definitely something we've discussed a lot, but I'm not sure what he'll do heh. But it's something he's thinking about at least.

That's something else I was thinking, since repaints or second/third versions could actually be a way to continue that character's story...
