Mr. Ana de Armas
So Diablo the paper game?
Oh for sure. But I used to read adventures cover to cover, so I'd know everything that was supposed to happen. Once I stopped doing that, I also just sort of stopped paying attention to published adventures more generally.TBF I don't think knowing the broad outline of it would really spoil it.

Yeah, it was initially Matt's sample dungeon for new DMs, but because of when that video released and the reach it had, the Delian Tomb is probably one of the most played modules of this D&D generation that isn't a WotC official one.DT sounds like the most straight forward adventure ever.
They were like 'Someone else can run a one shot!' and I said no judgement on 'em, just not my thing, no interest. I play these games to relax and escape, and doing it in a restaurant is like, I dunno, turning building Legos into a competitive sport or something.I can't imagine I would ever ATTEND, let alone RUN, a game in a restaurant. I can't think of a single redeeming element of that idea. Not one. Every part of it sounds bad.
I just don't understand the appeal. Why would anyone WANT to do this? Definitely just isn't for me, I guess. They were like 'Someone else can run a one shot!' and I said no judgement on 'em, just not my thing, no interest. Supreme extroversion. Granted I'm one bad day away from going full hermit and have joked that at this point I'd volunteer for one of those one-way solo space missions just to get away from humanity but...I just don't understand the appeal. Why would anyone WANT to do this? Definitely just isn't for me, I guess.
Two of my players in one group have pretty bad ADHD but so long as they could move around a bit I think they'd be ok.Yeah, a private party room is no different than doing it at a store or going to someone else's place.
But it's still rife with the distractions. I don't know. Everyone I play with has some sort of over-the-top neurodivergence they love to lean on, and I've gone to events and cons with then. I don't see it as a gain. Even at our private game on Friday nights, one of the kids is on tick tock the entire time with ear buds if it's not his turn. I'm not the DM so I don't really have a say on that but that's a no for me.
