I really hope we have another Covid-era moment, where, despite lots of folks expecting people to not turn up and vote in person, people turned out in droves just to prove a point. How satisfying it would be to see him implement this plan expecting it to make it harder for people, only for them to double down on their attempts to vote him out. The funny part is that this can end up disenfranchising his own voters as well. LOTS of Republican-voters have mobility issues, or minimum wage jobs that they can't leave to go vote, or whatever.
