Muppets (including The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock)

To SHOW anything if it was possible? Not likely until early next year I would assume, but to announce they were doing something, more than likely could happen at SDCC.
 
I do wonder if at least the Pepe deadly set was far enough along to make it out. My pre order from entertainment earth says July and I imagine we'll definitively know by the end of that month. But I haven't gotten a cancellation email yet so I remain slightly hopeful that it at least might make it out

I'm holding out hope that both the Deadly and Pepe and Sweetums sets release. Based on the Deadly and Pepe set getting pushed back to the end of the year at some retailers, I wonder if the Sweetums set jumped them in production order.

Here was the incredibly fast bbts customer service email reply when I asked for a status update on DST pre-orders last week. I'm holding off on starting Lips and Lew customs until they are officially canceled.

"That is a currently developing situation and as such we are still working out the details with our distributors regarding those Diamond Select Toys Pre-orders, we are hoping that it is likely that most Pre-orders are still going to be fulfilled but we can't say for certain at this point. However, future products beyond what is listed already are unlikely to continue as they were dissolved as a company at this point in time."
 
Does anyone have suggestions for figures I could customize into Palisades-scale Bobo and Sal Manila?

I've been buying more of the Palisades Muppets lately, and I'm pleasantly surprised at the articulation in the figures in later series. Several have ankle articulation, which is one of my biggest gripe with the Palisades line. I didn't realize any of them had ankles or nearly-modern articulation. For example, the Clifford figure is about as articulated as the new NECA Sesame Street figures, I think. He just had pins.

My dream would be for NECA (or whatever Ad Populum does with DST) to pick up the license and make updated Palisades figures of Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, Rowlf, Scooter, Bunsen, and Beaker. I don't really want updates for any of the other characters. Plus, it'd obviously be a dream come true if they continue the DST line.

Yep, she needs a redo. Ken Lilly has spoken about this, she is just off for some reason.

I will say it doesn't help that her look has changed quite a bit over the years - I assume she has just had a lot of plastic surgery like many an aging starlet. Sad what society does to women in the entertainment industry to keep up impossible beauty standards.
