AuDHD me is over here with seven different half-started lists of my collections and household spending. I'll do them properly one day. Promise!

Ahahahahaha that’s me with *checks notes* literally 90% of my collections! It’s gonna go on shelves, someday! When I get the shelves! In the new house I will buy that will have the space for them! YEAH!!!

I mean what counts as a ML bought? Bought and kept or bought as sold one in a 2 pack or kept the BAF only.

I only count the ones staying in my collection. If they're going right back out the door I didn't get them, I was an action figure foster parent for a week.

I didn't include any selling in my post, but there are a handful of things on my "bought" list that went right back out the door. I actually sold more than I bought this year, to the tune of about $3,000. A big part of that is because I made the decision to part with a big chunk of my Classified collection and started with the high dollar stuff (Haslabs, exclusives, etc). Plus selling off old MLs, mostly ones that had upgraded figures announced or rumored.

Because of the 'what am I doing with my life?' thread... I actually saw and passed up Phantom Rider today. Still not sure how I feel about that decision.

And I honestly think that's it. A lot of things I bought and didn't keep. I'm not going to tally it up, though I'm so conscientious of sales and deals I paid way less than MSRP on anything I could.

I think I bought everything except I didn’t get all of the Gamerverse Spider-Man variants nor did I get wave 2 of the Into the Spiderverse movie figures.

How much of that is still in boxes in the closet/storage? Did Toybiz actually make 450 figures?

Yes, the first mini-comic wave with ROM did indeed come out in 2025. I use Legendsverse to keep track of this stuff, but there are a ton of other sites that track by year of release also. Legendsverse has expanded to track most of the well known action figure lines at this point.

My only gripe is that Legendsverse has the Skurge BAF wave listed under 2026 even though most of us have that wave in hand at this point.

Going by Legendsverse I bought 41 figures this year (including the Skurge wave, the Inhumans 2 packs, and the Starfox & Champion set if it arrives from BBTS before January). I also would have gotten the Savage Land set if that had been an option, and I may get Super Skrull if he ever goes on sale.

Not too bad, and honestly about half of that has come in the last two months. If next year is as MCU heavy as Dwight has said, and that takes the place of some comic offerings, then my numbers will drastically decrease in 2026.

In my example, I bought the Savage Land three pack, but I only wanted Shanna. I had already made arrangements to sell Rogue and Sauron to other collectors before the set even arrived. So in my mind, I only purchased Shanna. Rogue and Sauron were simply means to that end.

If you bought the six figures needed to build the Executioner and then all six of those figures were either sold, given away, or thrown in a fodder bin, I consider that to be one figure purchased, not six or seven. The only figure you were interested in was the Executioner. The other six were simply means to that end.

That actually might be a welcome break for me. I rarely buy live action figures.

I say that, but I know that I bought Shalla Bal Silver Surfer and Joaquin Torres Falcon in 2025. I tend to make an exception and buy live action figures of only characters that haven't had a comic figure released.
