G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

I remember someone who didn't migrate over here from the Fwoosh actually got pissed and policed us in the Joes thread there. Something about this thread leads us to get into absolute nonsense all the time.

On topic, Pulse just told me Wetsuit is shipping. This single wave has tested my patience this year - I'm not usually this gimme gimme about figures I preorder but I'm actually annoying MYSELF at how impatient I am to get the three Joes in this wave. (Grim Viper also looks great but I'm not having the same level of HURRY UP)

Yeah, and I'm not even sure what it is because as I pointed out to you, even the other Joe threads don't veer so drastically. This thread is a mixture of discussion, nostalgic ramblings, and vulgar humor.

Isn't this also the wave that was originally saying it would ship next August?

We've had a lot of repaints this year so I chalk it up to excitement for new sculpts. We've gotten what, six(?) divers on virtually the same body, so Wetsuit is exciting. And boy is THICC which is a nice change because all the other divers are very skinny.

Not to mention all-new accessories, something other than a gun, is always cool!

I know Mainframe wasn't a lil guy originally, but I'm okay with him being partially on the Tunnel Rat buck because canonically Mainframe pulled Zarana, and I think we all know at least one short king golden retriever of a guy whose girlfriend is absolutely fucking terrifying. Mainframe's over in the corner building a gaming PC while Zarana is organizing her butterfly knife collection.

This was a wave that was originally almost a full year away on Amazon which is why my dumbass ordered from Pulse AND Amazon and I stressed myself out playing chicken waiting to see who shipped first. RESULT: THEY SHIPPED AT THE SAME TIME (well, Sci-Fi and Mainframe. I only got Grim on Amazon, and Wetsuit is supposed to ship first from Pulse, but whoever sends his thicc ass first gets my money.)

To be fair, I posted like six times in the last 6 or 7 pages of the thread. BUT, I hear ya. I don't want anyone to feel like they can't participate so I'll try to remember to be a bit more mellow.

Update on Grim Viper:
I just got an extra delivered so he is officially joining my Classified Fight Club, wherein I have a special extra copy of certain figures and they all have fists/fight hands and I regularly make them brawl on each other. Monkeywrench’s extra fists are a perfect fit.

It's pretty close, but it's just sitting on top because the hole is too small.
