People panicking and screaming about Newsom and I mean, man, the Democrats haven't had a cohesive strategy in 20 years. Don't worry about him being the presidential candidate. The left will fall in and out of love with seven to fifteen other dickheads between now and 2028. For now, let him take the hits. I'm perfectly happy seeing him be a lightning rod even though we know what he really is. Maybe his shittalking will let some better folks get some real work done under cover. He's drawing fire and I can live with that.

The Dem response has been embarrassing. The establishment's political instincts haven't been relevant in 30 years, insofar as they were ever relevant. Hakeem Jeffries has had more to say to Zohran Mamdani than Donald Trump.

JB Pritzker and Gavin Newsom have had the best responses. Their states have genuine power to defy the federal government, and they're using it. I'm no Newsom fan, but as I said earlier, I'll take every ally I can get.

Well, the push to form a cult of personality around Newsom is ON, and I’ve spent the last few hours getting told by my older Dem friends that I need to “have my own plan” if I against Newsom’s anti-trans narcissistic power-grab.
Motherfucker hosts a Nazi on the first episode of his “LOOK AT ME!” podcast, agrees with said Nazi, and I’m just supposed to chalk that up to candidates being “imperfect”?

Also fun to then be told “you’re not helping trans folks” when it is LITERALLY MY JOB to advocate for trans folks.

I'll come out hard against Newsom should he run for president in 2028 (lol).

Until then, I hope he uses every lever at his disposal as governor of the most powerful/important state in the union.
