Are you guys just feeling this gun shy because of what happened with the Simpsons and Disney lines? Because the TMNT stuff has managed to surpass all of those waves. Hell I think it’s officially in its 7th year of production now. I don’t think even the Masters of the Universe Classics line ran for this long.

I'm not sure I'd call it 'gun shy' because I don't actually care if they make more 2000-era stuff at all.
But let's clarify a few things just so we're on the same page, not as a 'gotcha' or as an attempt to tear you down or anything. Masters Classics ran way longer than TMNT has. Under Mattel it ran for about 6.5-7 years. Then another 2-ish years under Super7. Compared to about 5 years for TMNT Ultimates (Wave 1 released in 2020).
TMNT Ultimates has released 64 items to date, including all variants. MOTUC released about 209 items. Like.. it's not even a close contest. Not only did MOTUC last longer than TMNT has thus far (while granting TMNT is still going), but MOTUC released just... so much more product. If you break it down to a 'per year' average, MOTUC released almost twice as much product. So 'how long the line lasted' doesn't tell the whole story. A line that lasts 10 years and produces 10 figures is far less impressive than a line that lasts 3 years and produces 100 figures, all other things being equal.
All that is to say -- yeah, Super7 has garnered a bit of a reputation for cancelling things. Simpsons, Disney, some of the wrestling stuff, Dungeons & Dragons. Probably something else I'm not thinking of at the moment. Did they cancel G.I. Joe? Can't remember. It's not just about what they've cancelled though, it's about the clear message that they are more than willing to cancel announced product if it doesn't meet their mysterious sales expectations. It would be, perhaps, faulty logic to assume that TMNT is immune to the thing Super7 has already done numerous times.
No one is saying 'don't want to buy it.' It's just a cautionary message that it being announced doesn't guarantee they're going to release it. That's all.
