Operation Monster Force

FMF showed the grayscale for Red Riding Hood and her stuff. I've already made up my mind how I'd kit her out, but I am intrigued by what looks like rapid-fire rocket crossbow bolts.

Not to be pedantic... but does Red Riding HOOD not come with a, y'know, hooded head?

Seems like maybe a miss.

From the original art she had a half-cape and hood. The art showed two styles, one leaving the left arm exposed and the other the right. I was curious how one cape could do both, but I guess soft goods is the answer.

Not a chance. She hasn't even been put up for pre-order yet.

I think we still have some Soldiers of Fortune, Crimson Shadow, Dark Directive, and OMF Wave 3 to get through.

How is the Eraser for anybody who has him? I originally didn't pay too much attention to him, but I think I'm changing my mind.

Yeah... its not a thing I can be converted on. I hate cloth on my action figures and if it can't be removed and still be a worthwhile figure I will skip .it

I think he is really cool. He has translucent forearms. And an alternate translucent head and hands. And if you take his goggles off, his exposed face around his eyes is translucent, too.

I used to be anti-cloth, but recently I've seen some figures with some very thin fabric that I think scales better. Black Series Dooku, fer instance.

Hoods remain a problem, though, since they don't have the weight to settle right around a head. Anxious to see, though.

It's like your devotion to Super7's Ultimate lines. Some people can't stand those either, but you enjoy them. Everybody likes something others don't see the appeal of.

Soft goods DONE RIGHT can be amazing, but most mass market soft goods SUCK.

I'm trying to think of which soft goods goods I've seen that I've liked, because I think it kind of comes down to having a convincing "droop". Like the Amazon Black Series Palpatine had the bottoms sewn in a way to look like they hung down on the sides that looked pretty good for a mass market figure. Then the rerelease they made didn't have it and it looked awful. I'm sure there's some Mythic Legions figures that have done it well.
