Operation Monster Force

I know this wasn't directed to me but I just want to jump in and say if I keep one Monster Forcer permanently it's Dracula - he just fits really well with any other line as a classic, dignified Dracula. Probably my favorite figure in the line (though Van Helsing pings my "war magician" thing pretty strongly).
I saw they have a Delta Red that's more stripped down that comes with a "Nightstalker" looking Van Helsing head. Considering that one and maybe Dracula. I think the goatee makes for a decent modern update for a 2000's+ era Dracula without making him look less than Victorian overall.

I do wish the Forgotten King had some sort of break away mask to show the actual true dessicated corpse of a Pharoah beneath it. He looks too Moon Knight, bland and polished in his current form and he needs some swirling translucent skulls in vapor form like Raiders of the Lost Ark so you know he's otherworldly-powered. The oversized Egyptian looking Star Trek weapon isn't enough to interest me.

I will say the Delta Red figures are very cool. I bought one of each of the two color schemes (I think there were only two?) and I don't regret buying ONE, but the faces aren't different enough to feel like distinct characters, which is what I wanted them for. I keep adding the accessory pack to my cart on BBTS to get that other head though because I think that might take away any minor regret I have of owning two figures that are so similar.

I wouldn't call the Forgotten King a MUST HAVE because he's so specific, but he's on the same buck as Dracula which is truly a really good base body. I like using him as a kind of arcane villain, set him up with Moon Knight or such. He's not a bad buy at all if you're eyeballing him. (The staff is a bit ridiculous, but I use him like some Lovecraftian warlock than as a risen mummy.)

How do you like the Dracula and Delta Red figures? Those are the only 2 others I've considered mostly just because "tacticool vampire" and Dracula is just Dracula (who sadly doesn't look like he comes with much).

I really like them both a lot. More than I expected even.

I got Dracula since he looks like my mental image of a classic Dracula and he’s important to this story. In package, he doesn’t look as impressive as other figures in the line because he comes with fewer accessories. But in hand, he’s very cool. The coat looks great, and the soft plastic lets him be more dynamic than I expected. He can get into a two-handed sword pose and move his legs dynamically. And aesthetically he’s very cool.

Delta Red is awesome! So many accessories. I really like all three head options. I can understand the appeal of army building these. And I am tempted to get more.

It’s perfect timing for me, because of Marvel’s Bloodhunt story. ( I am simultaneously catching up on recent comics and recent action figures). You had the Avengers fighting tactical military style vampires.

Makes for some fun scenarios. Like would a vampire with super strength and super senses need to two-hand a rifle or could they use it effectively with a single hand? Makes for some fun combat ideas.

I really like Forgotten King. He’s like Stargate mixed with Mr. Knight and Baron Mordo. The translucent hands and effects really sell me on it. The new fully translucent version of him is tempting.

I skipped the Forgotten King. The mask is cool, but otherwise he's kind of boring. Especially when you have characters like Dr. Caligari and the sleepwalkers standing right there.

I'm hoping we get a cool, wrapped mummy version at some point. I would a female mummy with, like, a golden Nefertiti mask.

The quality of this line, if they did a wrapped mummy (male female or both) I'd pick one up no hesitation.

Caligari is so cool it's silly. Like really a one of a kind figure.

There's a robot-skull-headed dude they sketched out for a future Crimson Shadow wave. On the one hand, a robot Skull head is NOT cooler than a brain in a jar. On the other hand, he has a cigarette. I love the idea of a robot man smoking a cigarette. I kind of want to buy it so I can give Caligary a cigarette hand, but that would be a really expensive accessory.
