Justice
for Starhawk!
I didn't watch. I just assumed AgentHemlock did.
Nah, accidentally playing telephone I guess. My bad.I didn't watch. I just assumed AgentHemlock did.
This is why I like you. You make me feel less bad about being an easy mark for stuff myself.I'm such an easy mark for stuff. I was watching an old Peter Cushing interview about the difference between horror and fantasy and now I need the Van Helsing NECA figure of him. I'm ridiculous.
I went ahead and ordered the two Jaws Ultimates last week. I figured when Bruce comes in I will want to pose them with him. I'm not too worried about Brody honestly. If anyone has Van Helsing - how easy is swapping the torso and arms? I'm not sure how I'd want to primarily display him. I dig the "down to business" rolled up sleeves look a lot but haven't done big parts swaps on a NECA figure before.
Also, 100% have the Jaws figures in my cart right now because it's my favorite movie, but worry we won't also get Chief Brody.
Truthfully I'm debating NECA Jaws or LEGO Jaws and then I'll commit to ordering. But I did make a very specific Matt Hooper joke during D&D this week and now I desperately want a Richard Dreyfuss figure.I went ahead and ordered the two Jaws Ultimates last week. The torso swap was pretty easy, actually. I was a bit worried too. As much as I do like the trenchcoat, I think I wanted to add a little splash of color to the horror shelf, which already had a lot of black and white, so I went with the "down to business look". I can't remember if I heated the new torso first- I wanna say I did, but I couldn't swear to it. If I remember correctly, the arms are already attached to the vested torso, so it was just the ol' twist and pull with the old one. Because the arms are attached, though, I wanna say I had an easier time putting the new torso on by doing the ol' T-pose and grabbing him like a corkscrew to push him down. Felt a little loose at first, but it seemed to tighten up after a bit (take that how you will). He's a really nice figure, and I really appreciate them doing the swappable torso versus just a whole new version. If anyone has Van Helsing - how easy is swapping the torso and arms?
