MONDO 1/6 TMNT

Curious on if this will have an exclusive version or not. Would be nice not to miss anything but UK reseller prices are likely to be cheaper than ordering direct with shipping and import costs.

Plus a price in general would be nice to help decide if I even get into the line or not!

They usually put out that info a few days before with a blog post, though this being a new line who knows? I’ve also seen speculation at $150-200 and I think those folks are dreaming. I don’t see why it would be much less than the Marvel/DC stuff. Even if the license is cheaper, they probably would want to keep it in the neighborhood of the other lines so as not to make it appear as if this is a lesser line, even though no one would care if it meant a cheaper price. And they just plain know what they can get away with at $235 and why not go for broke?
 
Have any of the 1/6” Mondo TMNT figures actually went up before? Or is this one the first?

Don's gonna be the very first one, and I don't see any reason at all that's gonna cost less than the Marvel stuff...
 
I mean technically they did the Mirage turtles and a pair of mousers years ago (still wish they'd released that Shredder).
 
250 isn't horrible. Certainly less than I anticipated. Sucks that he's only up for 10 days, though.
 
Ouch. That's $250 before their tariff charge and shipping. He's probably going to be over $300 when all is said and done which is what I expected. I just don't know if other turtle collectors were. I think he looks neat, but I'm out on this line.

I looked at this image quickly and thought he was holding a cigarette for a second in his left hand. That would have made him a real dirtbag, 80s, teen!

Looks great. I'm still trying to decide if I get the four turtles or not due to cost and space. If this line was 1/12 I'd be all in I think. Love the look and the idea behind it.

The timed edition is. I assume the 2 Mousers he retrofit will be part of the timed exclusive and the standard version will be without those.

Apparently he also swappable eyes so you can do pupils or whited out eyes.

I think they got me boys! I can't just buy my favorite turtle, it would be pointless and out of place, so I think I'm in for 4 (hopefully Michelangelo looks decent as he's the only one we haven't seen)

This looks great, and the price is about what I’d expect. Don’t really want to commit to another Mondo line, though, given both the price and how quickly they solicit figures in each of their lines. With any of their lines, you’re looking at 3-5 figures a year. I imagine by this time next year they’d have solicited the Turtles and be in to Shredder and maybe someone else.

If they're going in order of the art they've been showing off at cons, Shredder will be third, after Leo. So not all four Turtles right off the bat.
 
So...anyone go in for this today? I figured I have 9 more days to decide (or rather, pretend like I'm going to skip it, then make a last minute, 11th hour purchase because who am I fooling, FOMO always wins?).
