McFarlane DC Multiverse

As for Mattel, I'm really pretty at capacity when it comes to figures these days. If they match DCUC (I still have all the Bat-related offerings from that line), it'll be hard to resist, but if they try something new like a new scale and such, I'm really going to be picking and choosing, probably exclusively first-time-in-plastic characters. I'll just be happy to have some figures with better leg articulation than Todd's. No matter what cool sculpts/characters he comes up with, the figures are so frustrating to me when it comes to posing. A thigh cut would make all the difference.
Agreed. Thigh cut and not having a diaper that prevents most figures from kicking forward to anywhere near even 90 degrees. And not causing the leg to pop off at the hip when you attempt to kick the leg that high.

But street dates continue to be the bane of our existence. Nothing kills a collector's desire to shop somewhere faster than finding something and being barred from buying it when you have the money already ready to go. Really feels like some of these places don't wanna make money.
I have had two run-ins in the last month with Target pulling merchandise out of my hands at the register and I am SO SICK of being treated like a criminal because I tried to purchase merchandise I found *on the shelf*. Way to make me NEVER want to buy a product but the real thing is the managers refuse to even try and then treat me like I'm the bad guy. I complained to corporate both times but fervently after the second time and that was a completely useless waste of my time.

The white background Page Punchers package looks super empty. That is not an attractive package. Todd's lack of consistency in his packaging frustrates me - I know a lot of lines have different packaging expressions, but they all maintain some unified look - these don't.

This bothers me also. I hate it when lines don't use consistent packaging. I don't open most of my DC Multiverse and I want them to look consistent when displayed on a shelf in package.

I don't even try with the Page Punchers because the packaging is so different for them than the main line and the Collector's Edition packaging. They just immediately get put into storage as soon as I buy them. Never displayed. That's a real shame for figures like Mr Bones and Steve Trevor, for example.

McFarlane certainly isn't the only company guilty of this, though. If anything they're more consistent with their packaging compared to other companies. The current Page Punchers packaging is the biggest variance.

Wow there is a lot of stuff up that day. Odd that I find myself aiming at Mortal Kombat stuff and don't give a flip about Liu Kang. I think the Ghost Vipers for GI Joe go up then as well too.

Everytime they repaint one of those hyper detailed McF sculpts into animated colors, I just can’t help loving it.
That Bane looks so sweet.

I think I will get that GITD Bane. I like how he has the blue pants and some white paint apps in places too. It's kind of like a Batman the Animated Series paint deco on a comic Mega Fig.

That's exactly what it is, and it's tempting. I know the Mr. Freeze has an animated inspired repaint (and it's easily the best of the 4), were there other animated repaints? Was that Knightfall Catwoman platinum intended to be an animated homage?

I hit another Target today using the Batman Returns UPC from the previous page. Two in the back. The worker came out with a regular and platinum lion head Superman. Probably dozens of figures under this UPC.....not incredibly helpful.

I've always kind of wanted the Batman figure in your avatar. Just sayin.

If I ran a big company, I might troll Toy Shiz and YouTubers with the UPC just for laughs.

I caved and pre ordered the Black Mask Batman. That way I at least have the character dressed up as Batman in case Todd doesn't give us a regular Black Mask before he's done.

We've got so many Bat-Villains in this line, but I hope before it's all done, we get Poison Ivy, Black Mask in a more Classic look, and Ra's Al Ghul.

There are obviously plenty more I'd take like Killer Moth, Ventriloquist, Firefly, Mad Hatter, etc. But out of all we have gotten I feel like if I had Ivy, Black Mask, and Ra's I would feel complete.
