I'd buy this wave. I think a slightly more recognizable anti-batman would do better, but Wrath is fine.

Hmmm. I do like the idea of classic Harley. Not only because there are so many Harleys we can still get later down the line, but this also ups the number of women in wave 1.I considered Prometheus, but he’d be pretty work-intensive.
I figure most of the “main” Bat-villains can practically headline a wave all on their own, and that bench of mains is like almost a dozen deep at this point.
I also considered putting Harley Quinn in that slot, in her classic leotard look and debuting a average/athletic female body.
See but then if I put Harley in, I’d want another super-obscure entry in place of Wrath, so I think I’d sub out Steve and sub in Angle-Man.Hmmm. I do like the idea of classic Harley. I'm not sure. To be clear, I don't believe it. I think Todd is lying to give his customers hope and sell more toys until McFarlane loses the license. He's a salesman at heart. Is this based on something new, or is this from the interviews a few weeks back where Todd said on camera that they are still negotiating with WB and Mattel? I'm highly skeptical that Mattel would consent to McFarlane continuing to do Multiverse in any fashion. Maybe they get to keep doing the DC Direct items like Super Powers, DC Retro and BTAS, but I think it is more likely they just keep non-toy items like statues and props that aren't a direct competition and Mattel has no interest in.
It just doesn't make any sense to me that Mattel would want to compete directly with McFarlane on action figures if they have any say in the matter.
No, I just gleaned that from interviews back at Toy Fair. They have a year and half to go and a lot of "will they/won't they" to sort through, but I feel the same. Mattel's not going to want anything remotely resembling competition. But then, without knowing specifics, WB makes that call. My initial reaction to the news was dang, they are going TMNT with it. Or G.I. Joe. Spinmaster keeps doing the smaller line, McFarlane keeps the larger scale, Mattel slips in-between, but that's too much cross contamination in the toy space. All three would want to be in the main aisle. IF, and I feel like it's a huge if, if they allow McFarlane to keep some slice of the action figure license, maaaaaaaaaaaybe it'll stick to the specialty market and brick and mortar electronics, gearing more towards adult collectors while Mattel gets the main toy aisles? Or side step to statues. As much as I want to hate the Marvel ones I find myself picking up the random one and staring at others. A matching DC line would be neato.I haven't seen this week's Weekly yet. YES. I need a full-spectrum cadre of Bat-villains, A- to Z-list.Just give me Killer Moth.
I can say I'm happy with my DCUC, all looking Who's Whosey in a display. I can say I'm content with what I got from McFarlane, especially the deeper dives announced at WonderCon.
