Masters of the Universe: Origins

I would love a MOTU/D&D (MOTUO style Warduke, gimme) crossover. If any have to be done, at least. But broken record time, not at the expense of finishing the vintage stuff.

WELP, you just created my dream crossover line, thank you. I would buy the EFFFFF out of Motu Warduke, Kelek, Ringlerun, Zarak, etc. (I ran Wilds Beyond the Witchlight for some friends last year and the highlight of the whole thing was getting to voice some of those characters as NPCs. Strongheart was a hoot to portray.)

Ok, I received sketchbook Syklone. It’s a pretty cool figure, and could be used as just a generic space dude. I like the single visor helmet, kinda like Cyclops. They seem to have put a bunch of effort into it. If parts were reused from older figures, I don’t recognize any immediately. The extra head that looks more like Syklone because of the blue face is not my preference. It has sculpted rivets to make the face look like a metal construction, but they come off as pimples. I won’t be using it. The laser pistol is cool.

That said, I don’t need them to put effort into these random designs when they haven’t released the a list of actual figures from the vintage line. In the box art, there’s a two headed character being beat up, I’m guessing it’s a sketchbook concept for Two Bad. If they fucking release that before the actual vintage toy design, I’m gonna riot. Just finish the fucking vintage line. Just make Two Bad for fucks’ sake.

My sketch Sy-Klone has shipped, but he hasn't blown his way into my life yet. I have him and Marvel Legends Gamerverse Psylocke/Thanos out from Target right now. They seemed to have shipped the same day.

I like using these Sketch figures as new, generic Eternia characters. It's fun. Not as fun as having the Vintage collection done, or getting actual established characters from MOTU lore, POP, and NA. But fun none the less.

Yeah... got the shipping notice for pseudo-Syclone but it didnt get here and I head to San Diego tomorrow, so I'll see him when I get back.

My sketchbook Sy-Clone arrived today. I never really cared for his vintage design, as I find it a bit busy. I like the look of this sketchbook version. Maybe not as Sy-Clone, but as some space cop. Robocop meets Nexus. Pretty cool.

I got Sketch Sy-Klone today. I'm so glad Sy-Klone became what he did, because I have always really liked the vintage figure and all the Sy-Klones based on it from the various MOTU lines over the years.

This sketch figure is cool though, and I will use it as some unique, random new character in Eternia. I'll have to give him some new, MOTU sounding name.

These look like totally new sculpts. Only Origins by name and scale. They look great, and I’m likely all in.

Kind of surprising myself here but... I have no interest in these.

Also.. really it's anything BUT releasing the final vintage figures, huh? Maybe someone could bring that up at the show.
