Fright Zone is up on Mattel Creations - and BBTS has it too?

EDIT: Also Cartoon Collection Bow, Shadow Weaver, and Whiplash. I definitely want the first two since I don't think we've had them before, but not sure I love the Whiplash design.

I went BBTS all the way (FZ, Thundercats, and CC) because Mattel Creations already sold out of the Fright Zone.
 
I was wondering if this would be one that would sell out or not. Seems ridiculous and pricey enough that it might not, but it's also SO nostalgic.

Well colour me surprised that the Fright Zone sold out on MC. I didn't think it would, especially this fast. Also it is a Club Grayskull exclusive until the middle of July. Guess it doesn't matter now. Still it is available on BBTS so that works out for non-Club Grayskull members. Although why bother with the Club Grayskull exclusivity if you are going to make it available at other outlets?
 
I can't believe the Fright Zone sold out on MC. That's crazy. I don't know if people just really wanted the Fright Zone, or if Mattel just didn't have a huge quantity of these for the Creations site. No matter what, I would have guessed Fright Zone would have been available the entire window they said it would be up. July 1-15.

I got Fright Zone, but I got it from BBTS along with the new Cartoon Collection Wave.

At least we hope we got Fright Zone from BBTS! Mattel might tell them too bad, we need them to fulfill our own orders. I ordered from BBTS too but now I kind of wish I'd ordered from Mattel.
 
Perhaps Mattel is borrowing an idea from Hasbro with shared exclusives. They keep a limited amount for their own online store and then also offer it through other retail partners.

You just made Super Camel piss his Camel khakis. If we don't get this playset from BBTS, I say we take it to the streets. Full toy riot! Let's push Mattel and BBTS over a hill!
 
Well there are two etailers in Canada who have it up for preorder (Fright Zone), but one is already sold out (DJC Collectibles).

BBTS still has it up for preorder so that is good. I'm starting to wonder if there may be more product coming and this might be initial stock that is getting sold out quickly. Maybe some more will show up?
 
So I finally got around to opening my box with Sharella and right there big and bold on the front of the box are Hreat Black Wizard and Pythonus... I really hope that suggests we will actually see those figures in the line. That would ve awesome.

Agreed! I was so happy to see both characters when I opened Sharella. Especially Great Black Wizard. I wanted him so much in Classics. But I hope we get both of these characters at some point.
 
My Sharella has super weak knees; I have to lean her torso way forward to get her to stand up straight. Very disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear that. There have been a few bad QC issues reported on here for this figure. It worries me the amount of QC issues that get reported any more for Origins and Masterverse. It seems like Mattel gets a little lazier year after year, and I hate that this late in these lines/collections.
