Literally.Ugh. I hate seeing how these sketch items are going on clearance and Canada hasn't seen hide nor hair of them because Mattel has abandoned regular retail for MOTU in Canada. Only etailers, of which very few carry any more MOTU Origins product, and Creations are options. However Creations doesn't seem to have them
I’m not gonna bother with the hassle of exchanging. If she sticks around and goes on sale, I’ll try my luck with another couple. For now, I opened the one with even bags under her eyes. In some light, she looks fine, while in others, she looks tired as hell. It’s a nice figure otherwise. Just annoying that they fucked it up in that way. That sucks to hear NORM. Are you going to send them back to exchange for 2 more?
But that is the main reason I always buy 2 of everything from Mattel Creations. Especially back when things sold out and they didn't have stock to exchange if the figures were broken or had poor Quality.
I swapped the hands and turned the body around, but some people are using Magic Eraser to take off the black paint of the O. Takes a bit of elbow grease though and the outline will still be there but it is nearly invisible at a distance.I’m not gonna bother with the hassle of exchanging. I also opened the Horde sketch 2pk. I actually very much hate the boar head on Grizzlor and would love to find an alternative. I actually swapped the thigh armor onto his arms (just clips on) and swapped the boots between him and Hordak, and I like both figures more this way. I also took the spiky Mohawk head from Hurricane Hordak and put it on this Hordak. I like it better.
And finally, I received cartoon Montork, Grizzlor, and Fang Man from BBTS today. Actually, I won’t be calling him Montork because I haven’t figured out a workaround for that O on the chest, so he stays Orko. Grizzlor is fine if not basic. And for a guy called Fang Man, he has very average Fangs. You’d think he’d have tusks like sketch Grizzlor or something. Nice additions to their respective crews tho.
No. It is actually worse than Mattel Creations. We don't get $4 shipping and have to pay taxes and duties before delivery because BBTS doesn't charge that stuff up front. So anything over $100Cdn is all but guaranteed to get hit. In those cases Mattel Creations works out better because their shipping rate is a flat amount that is lower than BBTS' cheapest option for Canadians and MC charges taxes so you don't get dinged when the package crosses the border.BBTS already has a "Coming Soon" place holder up on their website for Fright Zone. So, to those who don't want to buy from Mattel for whatever reasons, BBTS is an option.
You probably won't have to pay right away, $4 shipping, Pile of Loot, and I imagine (but I have no idea) BBTS is better for you buyers not in the US. I know we are chalk full of Canada on this site and TheFwoosh. Is BBTS good to the Canadians?
Glad I will be able to grab it from BBTS and not have to go through Mattel Creations. That's good news.BBTS already has a "Coming Soon" place holder up on their website for Fright Zone. So, to those who don't want to buy from Mattel for whatever reasons, BBTS is an option.

Yeah they are another option, however shipping is not great in Canada so it will all be dependent on price, and of course whether or not any of the Canadian etailers actually carry the Fright Zone. That is crazy. I hate to hear that. What about the CMD Store? Are they based out of Canada? They still get Origins and Masterverse products.
That's a great price. I have all 3 of those, but for $5 each I'd buy all of them again. I'm in the East though. So, it may be a few weeks before we see them. But usually what the West gets we do end up seeing it here at Ross and TJ Maxx.Saw a post on FB that the cartoon Tri-Klops/Man-E-Faces/Hordak figures are popping up at west coast Ross stores at 4.99.
