Its funny to be on the opposite side of the coin on this. It's clear I'm in a minority but I legitimately don't give a shit about Dragstor or Blast Attack or Spinwit and Dipshit...
I am much more energized by Sharella and Vypor and the stuff that expands the collection. I understand why people want the vintage re-dos completed, and I think if this line were still getting regular retail support with multiple waves per year being stocked it would be easier to do some of each... it feels much harder to wait when its one figure on-line every month or two.
That said there isn't a single vintage character they could make now that I would need to have but every new Snake Man or Preternia character or even Filmation 'never weres' like Kol-Dar is an instant purchase for me.
It probably isnt smart to cater to me and ignore the vintage recreationists, but if they were doing the same single figure on-line release pattern and it was just vintage character after vintage character I would tune out for sure.
Its not that I don't want people like KD to be happy, but Mattel's current strategy is definitely aimed directly at me.
