Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

cool. i'll be more excited for Wundar when he's in hand, these walmart releases are annoying and there's at least three releases to come before him.

It seems to have been confirmed that Evil Lyn is the next Vintage Collection figure for Masterverse. This was rumored a while back but now it does seem to be confirmed over on ToyHabits on YouTube.
I'm not interested in any future Masterverse female figures if they continue to use single-elbows. But I'm choosing to avoid the vintage subline anyway.

I don't know if it would be Masterverse, but my nieces got into She Ran on Netflix and I have renewed desire for some sort of representation.
I'm still legitimately angry that the Netflix She-Ra show was both critically- and viewer-adored, to the point where it was able to get 5 seasons without interference from Netflix, and Mattel blatantly and almost antagonistically refused to release action figures at ANY point. But they went all in on the way shittier, way uglier Netflix kids' He-Man cartoon that bombed and had all the merch end up at dollar stores.

Same. I know they at least have a trade of the Revelation stuff, but haven't looked much beyond that. I know there was a New Eternia series at one point, but I don't know if that has ended or still continues at this point.
I said before that the current Sword of Flaws was a mini, but they announced today that it's going to continue as an ongoing series now.

But... but ... that show was all gurls and icky girls don't buy action figures and boys won't buy girl toys ... and...

I know you're being sarcastic, but for the people that actually believe that I want to point out that Seahawk in the new cartoon is a certified metal badass. Dude constantly lights shit on fire while screaming 'adventure!' I defy you to find a more masculine character in the entire world of animation.

I don't think I've ever met a MOTU or POP cartoon I didn't like. My favorites will always be the Filmation MOTU and POP, but New Adventures, 200X, the Netflix She-Ra and CGI He-Man, Revelations, and Revolutions. It's all good to me.

I have always loved everything She-Ra just as much as MOTU. To me growing up they went together and I never felt as a boy in the 80's that She-Ra was too girly. It was part of the overall story and Universe, and She-Ra was equally as important as He-Man.

I was lucky too, because while I had all the MOTU figures, vehicles, and playsets, my cousin, who is more like my sister than a cousin and a best friend, had all the POP stuff. We'd go to each other's houses and bring all our stuff and just have full on Eternia and Etheria adventures.

Good times.

But yeah, I love She-Ra. All the cool POP stuff was one of the best parts of the MOTU Classics line, and I hope we just keep getting more and more New Etheria figures in Masterverse.

I hope this new He-Man movie does well enough we get sequels, one of which would eventually introduce, finally, a live action She-Ra! It would be cool at the end credits of a MOTU sequel Adam goes to Grayskull, summoned by the Sorceress and is shown the sword of protection. Leading into a Secret of the Sword like MOTU/POP live action sequel.

That's pretty cool about Wun-Dar. I missed that news yesterday lol. I just totally didn't even notice. I'd take a Wun-Dar though in the Vintage Collection. I think I'd rather have New Eternia Wun-Dar though with some New Eternia bread.

How do you think Mattel would handle New Eternia bread, and it's new bread look? Would they wow us like they did with Faker, Webstor, Anti Eternia He-Man, and BA Skeletor. Or would the bread underwhelm us like New Eternia Keldor?

I think this New Eternia Loaf of Bread, could change the game. I can't even imagine all the possibilities for the look of a loaf of bread in New Eternia.

Recipe for Vintage Bread:

He-Man
Zodac's Vest
Brown and Black dye
Whatever weapons they feel like printing. Probably Zodac's.

Do the tires on this Dragstor actually spin?? I'm kinda thinking they won't, but that's really worst case.

Despara might never be displayed that way. I'm all in for Adora though.

This might be my least favorite interpretation of Keldor I've seen. The white and green really seem like left field choices.
I don’t like the white and green but I do like the melty face

Re: least favorite MOTU character.

I’m sure this will be unpopular opinion but for me it’s always been Rio Blast. He just always looked to me like Mattel had been working on an entirely different toy line of space cowboys, then stopped work on it and said “eh just release it as a he-man toy” he literally looks to me like the main character of an entirely different toy line
