MAFEX DC Figures

TSS Peacemaker (2 heads and er, the head sculpt is okay if you keep the helmet on...never ever take it off),

I knew it was going to be tough for them to do him, and yep, it looks about as odd as John Cena himself does. This might be one that looks better in hand than in promos, so I'm reserving judgment until release. Certainly the shading around the eyes looks far too heavy in the promos, but I've seen that on other promo images as well that didn't end up looking like that in hand.

Getting InArt and LPZZ is kind of making Mafex and their ridiculous prices a little more obsolete for me...

Really, when you look at their products by comparison--night and day.

I was really excited to see Maeve, as I've been collecting The Boys, but...my collection just stopped. I won't be paying $135 for a Mafex, that's downright ridiculous. It was bad enough when they creeped to $100, but $135 is a pipe dream lol

I've been extremely disappointed in Medicom lately. I feel like they've been focusing on live action figures almost exclusively, while comic figures become fewer and far between. I just want Babs already!

They were creeping up before tariffs, so we can't blame those (not that anyone has, just saying)...

...and to me, these just aren't worth it. Getting that InArt TDK Batman in hand made me realize that it's like NECA vs Playmates.

Cheaper than or relatively same price as a Mafex, looks infinitely better, moves better, better overall deal. InArt is basically a mini Hot Toys.

Same goes for LPZZ. Their Hush line looks superior. And they told me they plan to go deep on Hush. All these things, coupled with Medicom's increasingly ridiculous prices have me dropping most Mafex.

That Maeve looks nothing like her, btw.
Wolverine, however, looks incredible.

Too soon to tell with selection and release for me.

But I do love my InArt Bale and am in on Selina and Bane. Will get other Bats and Arkham Selina to go with Bats.

But they're not giving me X-Men, Daredevil, etc, so I can't put them against each other. I'm happy to have them all cater to me.

Also not sure if I agree that Inart moves better. It's great for that costume. But my fidget is still Knightfall and DD. I'll get back to you once my wired cape hits.
