JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

Yeah I took off the armor too. That look just wasn't Casey to me. Was going to swap out the skates but didn't feel like boiling water at the time and then I decided I kind of like them. I've heard that you should sand down the ridge on the pegs to make it easier to swap in the future.
 
The feet were not a fun swap,yeah. Hot watered them, but they also dont go like straight in, or something.
 
Casey is another one I passed on. Just doesn't do anything for me. Human characters are always going to be at a disadvantage in a TMNT line. I appreciate that they did something different with him, but I don't need it. He, Splinter, the Foot, and Triceratons are the ones I've passed on so far.
 
They really are! I love them for the same reason I liked Bebop and Rocksteady so much, just the general chunkiness of them. They just feel so substantial for smaller figures.
 
Couple of Triceraton shots. I couldn't decide which lighting they looked better under in this diorama. Fantastic figures.

I've been spoiled with two waves in such quick succession. Can't wait to see more! At least they seem to pretty steadily offer waves every three months or so...

Since I brought it up in the 2012 thread, now I'm really wanting to see a JT take on Mutagen Man.
 
Do it JoyToy. Mutagen Man would be at the top of my list for sure. I'm really excited to see where they go with this line and thank you bad influences for the advice on catching up with the releases I had missed.
 
Well got my first issue in the line so far. Minor painted eye missing. I've read here and elsewhere a few ppl missing weapons etc so there appears to be a quality control debacle in the chain. I switch over to the Tapatalk app to post images from my phone. Otherwise you can just grab the image link and click the little picture in the options above where you type your post and put it in there.

Speaking of QC...

LT Cave emailed me back pretty quickly about my missing weapon and sent me a link to fill out an online form. It mentioned a return authorization through which I didn't have to send the item back. I haven't heard anything since then though and that was a couple of days ago. I guess a refund would be fine but I really wanted the weapon replaced. Then again I could probably order a second one with the refund and have a Triceraton infantry duo, one with the gun and one with the blades.

My other half of my first order from them is giving me errors all day when I try to track it. Disappeared somewhere in New Jersey so naturally I think @NORM intercepted it.

I would probably pay the $20 for it not to take 20 days which is about what I'm at right now. Also so Norm won't get my shipments.
 
Errors in what way? Just not moving, or doesn't recognize the number, or what?

Went to screenshot it and it is now working again. It gave me a little red symbol and said error when I tried to refresh it. Same tab I had open the whole time so I guess the tracking service was just down.
