JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

As someone who’s cut themselves off from this line at the four brothers, there are not nearly enough of you rubbing it in with photos of all of the other characters in this line. You’re really just gonna keep that to yourselves, you selfish pricks? Didn’t anyone teach you to gloat?

We are trying to not tempt you. We've been posting all the cool pics in the super secret thread which is in an undisclosed location.

Well, I didn’t want to see your pics of Krang or Rocksteady or Bebop or Shredder or Casey or April ANYWAY

Fine! Here's a pic of April, Splinter, Krang, and Casey.

On the plane inbound from China right now.

Ugh, I am out of town today and I had a feeling my wave 5 package was gonna show up. So I put my mail on hold starting wednesday just to be sure, and they delivered it anyway. Would have asked my dad to go over and grab it, but he's also out of town. So I asked a neighbor who hopefully won't understand what's inside, but he's leaving town in the morning so I won't be able to get it from him until Monday. I know I live on an auxiliary mail route that gets done by the newest of the new employees all the time, but it's frustrating that they dont understand what a mail hold is.

Out of curiosity - can Slash pull off two-handed sword poses or did they not give him the pull-out butterflies that some other JoyToy figures have?

No butterfly joints. He can just barely get a two-handed grip if he’s holding the sword like a baseball bat, but with his hands in the center of his chest. I did kind of cheat by using a trigger finger hand for the bottom hand, I’m not sure if it would work with two standard gripping hands. I don’t have a pic at the moment.

Bummer. I don't know why that matters so much to me but I just think it would look even more badass if he could do it.

For those that order from China often, particularly LT Cave, how do you get a tracking number once it hits the final delivery provider? Mine was processed by DHL and transferred to them and I can't find out where or even who it is. Nothing in any of my shipping apps.

I didn't get one for this latest shipment. The one before that, it just showed up as an entry in the Chinese tracking details, something like "Package tendered to local delivery agent, tracking number XXXXXXX" So I guess there's no hard and fast rule? But it should keep updating within the Chinese number's tracking details, this latest one did all the way up to delivery, though it seemed. Took about three days once DHL had it:

6/18: ARRIVAL DESTINATION DHL ECOMMERCE FACILITY
6/18TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER, ALLOW 1-3 DAYS FOR UPDATES FOR PACKAGES WITHIN THE US
6/19: PROCESSED THROUGH USPS SORT FACILITY
6/20: ARRIVAL AT POST OFFICE
6/20: OUT FOR DELIVERY
6/21: DELIVERED [FRONT DOOR/PORCH]

All within that 17Track site that LT Cave links to for tracking (city names were included, I just deleted them).

Thanks! I didn't know that it would continue to update from the original tracking. I'll keep an eye on that. I just hate not knowing when to expect something. Reminds me of checking the mailbox daily as a teenager waiting on my Columbia House CDs to show up and having no idea when they might.

Ironically I just checked the tracking before posting that question and now checked it again and it has updated that USPS has it in Memphis which means I'll have them Monday.

I just use the original tracking service too. The timestamp won’t be in your local time, but it should provide a general idea on what day. My last delivery was handed off to a courier I had never heard of. Began with a “U” and it actually arrived on a Sunday, which threw me off, but it was like an Amazon delivery with a picture and everything.
