JOYTOY 1/18 Scale TMNT

I have a feeling that these guys would look like the Bay turtles next to the Jada 1:18 Party Wagon.

Just got Wave 4 two days ago, and now I have a shipping notice from LT Cave for Wave 5. :)

Cmoney I always got updates from you on Rage Toys via that bilibili site you hearing anything new?

Not on the tmnt stuff lately, but looks like the shark guys from back when are finally out in China now. I've posted a couple non-tmnt Rage updates in the Third Party Figures thread on the General board recently.

Nerdzoic just put up the latest Joy Toy TMNT figures. Is this a new thing for them or did they have the older waves before?

Nerdzoic had the older waves, though the tariff stuff has prevented him from following through with the import process for the latest wave, if not all of them. He may have started bringing them over with the rate being dropped to 30%.

I got a few of these in from eBay today. Basically found all the ones that were sold out on LT Cave from a US seller for retail price.

I also have some coming from LT Cave and I'm debating about waiting on those to get here and having a big opening party but I may not be able to hold out. Bebop and Rocksteady look fantastic. The Foot Soldiers and Shredder are kind of underwhelming but this is just my pre-opening opinion.

Just got in my Slash, Tokka, Krang, and Foot Soldiers from Cool Toys today. No tariffs or import fees.

And man, do I love this line. Familiar, yet unique. Such awesome figures. Going to order the Triceratons and Casey this weekend, I think.

I opened up the Foot Soldiers, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady this morning. I'll admit to being a bit underwhelmed at first because of the size, but only because it has been a while since I even looked at a figure in this scale. Once I opened them all of my doubts faded. I think the size kicks them up a few notches because of the amount of detail they fit into those tiny figures.

They pose very well and I love the chunkiness of Bebop and Rocksteady. Scary moment though when I opened Bebop I dumped all his parts on the coffee table and I couldn't find his glasses. I knew they were there because they had come off him in package and were rattling around, but they were nowhere to be found now. I spent 20 minutes or so searching the room including flipping over the couch and every chair, lifting up the rug, moving the coffee table, searching under the couch cushions, you name it I did it. Then I lifted up his shield and they were underneath. I was starting to believe I had never seen them to begin with and was doubting my sanity.

My Turtles have left China so hopefully I get them soon. I can't wait.

I've done similar many a time with various small items packed with figures, but I also have a thicker, almost shag carpet that likes to eat things, so it's more terrifying.

My April & Casey are listed as hitting JFK airport on the 11th, so I'm hoping for more movement come Monday.

DHL's got my Casey/Triceraton wave, so I figure they'll hand 'em off to USPS and try to deliver them on Friday when I'm out of town now!

Yeah I used to have a nice fluffy shag rug in the middle of the main figure room. My thought was it would be comfy to lie down on and chill out while looking at figures. But then figures kept falling off the shelf and pieces would fly off of them right into the shag. It became a nightmare and I got rid of it. Got a smaller one in the other room that isn't as shaggy but thankfully most of those figures are behind glass.

I got Slash and Tokka over the weekend from LT Cave. Some courier company I had never heard of made the delivery on Sunday. They are pretty awesome and really there aren't that many shared parts between the two. Looks to be the upper arm, thigh, abdomen, feet, knee pads, elbow pads, and the belt (except for the belt buckle). They probably could have just had them share hands and knocked Tokka down to a three digit mutant like the other turtles, but they kept him at five. I love the ample weapon storage both have, but I am greedy and wish they had more. Are these the first licensed TMNT figures to come with alcohol for an accessory? I can't think of any others, but I love their big mugs of ale. They may end up as a couple of food monsters in my display, though their weapons are so neat that I'll probably switch them up quite a bit.
