It makes sense. Shaggy would be much easier to do, and you could gage interest in the line
Yeah, Reluctant Werewolf, Boo Brothers, and Ghoul School were the trilogy that got watched countless times by me and my bother as well. Never quite understood the Scrappy hate because I liked him just fine in all of those. I think Red shirt Shaggy is a great variant down the line, maybe pack in different Scrappys with him and Scoob or any related monsters?I would love to see Shaggy in his red shirt, maybe with Dracula from Reluctant Werewolf in the wave too. That was honestly a great design for Dracula and a movie I saw a ton with my brother. I also absolutely loved the Brothers Boo movie as a kid!
So glad to see they turned out well. Been really looking forward to these guys for quite a while. Really hope there's life to the line, at least enough to get us the full Mystery Gang and a gaggle of ghoulies.Robo has a review of wave one up on YouTube. I think Scooby fans will be pretty happy with them.
They were good out of the block with Count Chockula and Frankenberry, (didn't get any of the universal monsters) but they have leaped 1000 fold from there and are currently my 2nd favorite toy manufacturer even though I don't care about most of their licenses.Jada Toys really came out of nowhere to make some outstanding figures, eh? This keeps the excellent streak going after Street Fighter and the breakfast mascots.
Robo has some shots of Shaggy in the Mystery Machine from the Scoob! movie of a few years ago. A little undersized, but it didn’t look terrible to me.I’m still surprised that wasn’t the case. Or have a Scooby variant in each wave. Not having Scooby in the first wave was a bold choice. Shaggy is up there but all the shows are called Scooby Doo! Curious if the Mystery Machine is a possibility. It’s so iconic on its own that I think they could sell enough to make it worthwhile.
