And importantly; they have the numbers. The other side of this is a bunch of people speculating on what maybe it costs to make, how many they might need to make, how much money they might make by changing their minds. Etc. Harvinger knows exactly how much money they spend and make per unit sold, and exactly how many units they need to make (from a factory perspective). And neither party actually knows how many would sell.

I will say that until I had Elric in hand I was not impressed by the line at all, and I got in on the preorder specifically because I assumed Elric was niche and I might never get another figure of him.

I can't explain what it is, but these figures look way less cartoony and weirdly proportioned in hand than they do in photos. There's definitely some cartoonishness there, but I think it's much less WoW and more the same art that the WoW artists were also inspired by, especially given the offerings from the company so far. These are old school sword and sorcery geeks.

That makes me happy to hear. I will say I saw one of the older lizard men at a toyshow last month and it was like WOW level in person. That one looked nice in pictures too but they really didn't do it justice at all imo. I'm worried though for my wallet.

This is it exactly. I've been floored by the gap between how they look in photos and how they look in person. The albino lizard was my second purchase because @Damien convinced me (and he was right, twice in one day ) that it would be the perfect foil to Elric on the shelf and I was sincerely stunned by it as well. The pearl sheen to the scales and the really beautiful color scheme. Just lovely. And yeah, guard your wallet well. I had nothing from these guys in March and as of last night I'm now up to 6.

I have 7 Lemurians, and 10 of the piranhas on order. Probably should review the piranhas and make sure I have the right mix. I like to have between 8 to 12 for a "species" or group, like these or the Spero cats or 4H birds. So would like a couple more Lemurians.
