It's not a bias if it's true. Maybe. I'm not 100% on that.

Because we were talking about it probably 14 dick jokes ago; Bee's Battlegrounds just put up a review of three cop figures put out by Figures Toy Company, one of which is a regular long-sleeve beat cop that, in my opinion, is generally more the direction Hasbro should have gone. They look VERY rudimentary, but not actually all that bad.

Damn, I can barely remember beyond five dick jokes these days. I mean, I get why they wanna go with a more tactical version for a modern military figure line but even aside from political.stuf, yeah the long sleeve beat cop seems like a better tribute. I bet there was even a "and knowing is half the battle" with one.

THey went to the trouble of doing a proper polar bear, I'd hate to see them just repaint it to make an improper brown/grizzly. Gotta get those body proportions right, folks! Don't be Four Horsemen!

I mean... polar bears are about 1 foot (grizzly) or 2 foot taller standing up than a brown bear and the head shapes are different but the body shapes aren't dramatically different... its mostly the hump at the shoulders, but with a different head and neck overlay I don't think it would be criminal to use the polar bear body for a brown bear or grizzly.

My parents went across the Curtain for some diplomatic thing when was first or second grade, and my souvenir when she got back was a few wooden carvings of bears just like that.

I know people are sick of Snake Eyes, but I'd love a new Classified take on the 85 suit. I have the original and 00 Snake Eyes, but I'm curious what the classic minded team would tweak.

All I know is I'll get a couple of the cops...to stage a Batman: Year One scene of them getting clobbered by the caped crusader!

I don't know who that is, but I'll finally have a close look at Flint in hand tonight when Amazon delivers!

Amazon just let me know Flint is delayed and lemme tell ya, in a week where I just needed one teeny, tiny dopamine boost to combat the bad stuff...

I'm refusing to look too much into that Charlie Kirk thing, why ruin it for myself... I kind of saw modern Flint's face sculpt as looking like a modern movie star handsome (kinda saw shades of John Hamm in there, but if John Hamm had had his nose broken a few times?) and the retro card looks to me like what someone would expect from a movie star in the 1950s. He's got Gregory Peck vibes to me.
