G.I. Joe Classified Series

I'd think that could be done at a deluxe level. Maybe at the regular two pack pricing.
Depending on how detailed they get with it... if it's a few parts that go together quickly, and about the same ratio as the original toy, I could see that being the case yeah. If they go a little bigger and make it more sturdy etc, maybe more.
I usually gotta pay for those kinds of things!
Good to know when I'm getting short on that collectin' money.
I don't like it, personally.

I'm fine with ninjas also being soldiers, but it just feels a stretch too far & too goofy for SO MANY other soldiers, also being secret ninjas lol.

I'm good with him having Jason Bourne-type martial arts training as a mercenary, but I don't want him or most others being full on ninjas.
Yeah... like, I love a good twist, and that was a serious one, but something about it always made me feel like it was just a liiiiiiittle too much. I totally accept Firefly being the one CC originally paid to go after Snake Eyes, then not feeling confident about it after some time and farming it out to Zartan, BUT... being one of the masters in the ninja clan? When would he have time to blow up things and mercenary around?

I love Firefly vs Snake Eyes, my two favorite Joes, both being badass ninja saboteur operators. Basically both doing similar jobs for different sides, both being very objective-driven, it's kind of like Spy vs Spy to me. Trying to outplay the other one but actual combat/contact being very rare. Just a note, I'm not really taking into account all that backstory, I'm not really that knowledgeable on the comics and quite frankly reading the wiki it's even more silly than I expected.

Don't like Zartan being a ninja, either, lol. Thankfully always forget about that lol. Can't forget Firefly, unfortunately, so I just try harder to overwrite my own canon lol.

Isn't Stalker ninja-fluent, too? I mean, not in my canon (though he's definitely the leader of the 13, thanks to this thread), but in Hama-canon?

I am so thankful they didn't do Zartan with the Chameleon at the Ferret pricepoint or something. Would have been neat but I wouldn't want the vehicle and I feel like no one is gonna want it who doesn't also want Zartan so I'd be stuck with it.
Now that we have a Zartan, they could still do a second Zartan with Chameleon or Ferret.

Well... he was more ninja-adjacent, if I remember correctly. He got access to Snake Eyes and the clan via their swordmaker. So I don't know how much real ninja stuff he had, but he clearly had other training and such before he even went there (otherwise Firefly wouldn't have approached him). And when he tried to kill Snake Eyes, but got the Hard Master instead, he had a bunch of tech stuff aiding him to make that shot.

Not that I remember. He obviously was buddies with a few, and likely had as much training in hand-to-hand combat as other Rangers, but I don't remember him ever going full on ninja with it.

Totally now. I'm just glad they didn't with his first release.

My first joe figures were Snake Eyes and the Cobra trooper for Christmas, and they were all I had until my cousins got me Zartan for my birthday. So I definitely have fond memories of him and that vehicle, even before I got into the comics. My older cousin was the one who introduced me to them, with the first one being when Destro and Firefly went after Snake Eyes in his cabin. I had no idea at the wonders of the Origin double issue story yet.

Ohhhhhhhh damn, I completely forgot he was in Ninja Force! Ha! Okay.... forget what I said. It's entirely based on pre-ninja force comics.

There was a tie in comic to the horrendous GI Joe Retaliation that showed Roadblack was trained by Snake-Eyes in the ninja stuffs.

See, I think of Snake-Eyes as a commando who is trained as a ninja, among other things. It’s part of who he is, but not *all* of who he is.
I see Firefly similarly: he sees himself as the ultimate saboteur/assassin/mercenary, so if he can con his way into ninja training he will and did *absolutely* do that.
Also important to remember that the Arashikage was basically a crime family trying to “go legit”, and Firefly wound up as the leader of the “fuck being good guys, we actively WANT to kill for the highest biddder” Red Ninjas, who were always “bad” Arashikage. So Firefly muscling his way into leading a cadre of renegade ninja-assassins and deciding to call himself “The Faceless Master” totally makes sense to me.
