G.I. Joe Classified Series

I'm officially taking myself off my own trusted opinion list when it comes to scale for 1/12 vehicles and such. I was just looking for what other water vehicles they released back in the day, saw the headquarters/command center, was like that's not THAT big, then saw a VAMP parked inside it and was like oh crap that's HUGE
I'm braced for someone to tell me how bad my guesstimate is about the size of the mobile command center.

But it would be cool if it was big enough to fit a Vamp in that garage.

For Haslab water vehicles, the Moray for Cobra and WHALE for Joes. Both would be rather large vehicles. But I think they could still make the WHALE and just trim out some of the features, like the sled.

Or maybe instead of the WHALE, what about the Tactical Battle Platform for the Joes? It would pair well with the Moray, as they were in a classic issue of the Marvel comic (their comic debut?).

Smaller, retail water vehicles would be great too. Moccasin for ~$100 for Cobra. And a Devilfish for Joes ~$75.

Random thought regarding a Haslab Snow Cat.

What if one of the tiers is Tundra Stalker? And his kayak can store on the back of the Snow Cat. While I do think this look for Stalker is popular enough to succeed at retail, he'd have to be at some kind of deluxe pricepoint. Making him a bonus for the Haslab may make sense. His kayak could also be reused down the road with an Adventure Team set, should they decide to make Adventure Team stuff. I'd rather have Haslab bonus figures be variations of existing characters, and new-to-the-line characters be available at retail.

Didn't have the command center as a kid but did have this:

Either one would be my dream Classified Haslab. Even if it were huge and expensive as heck, I'd cave. Wouldn't need that silly folding-up feature though, it's not like I'm going to bring a $500, four-foot-tall fort to a friends' house, because I don't have any.

What's sort of funny when discussing Joe 1/12 water vehicles is that if you want something that fits pretty well but costs just barely more than a single figure these days, the Fortnite speedboat is going for real cheap.

Speaking of the Millennium Falcon - I'd be really okay with an official cockpit diorama or something like that. Also an Emperor's Throne Room diorama. Just pieces that are impressive but still technically small enough for something like a cube shelf.
The Falcon cockpit is one I'd probably pick up. Perfect diorama piece and would not only fit on a shelf but probably wouldn't totally blow the budget.

So, I know we've moved on from generic soldier types to large scale vehicles and playsets. (this thread moves quick sometimes)... but I was going to jokingly suggest that people who want some generic soldier types could still hit up the Patriot Force kickstarter....

it could certainly use the help. Its about 1/4 of the way to goal with 20 days left. I checked on it while I was at Kickstarter reading Roboskull updates. The PF guys keep throwing new items up hoping to move the needle without much luck it seems. It's like G.I Joe without all the best parts.

When it comes to big items I would have to spring for as I've said before its the Snow Cat and the Whale... unskippable. Anything else I could probably talk myself out of.

True story. Ive had it in my cart for ages. Finally pulled the trigger.

I dunno about that Patriot Force. On its face, if you don't scroll too far, it seems cool and kinda along the lines of some of the things I myself have suggested here. But if nothing else, I did have one Valaverse figure that was fine but now feel like I don't wanna mix lines by other companies not just scale but also sometimes the aesthetics and such may not exactly match.
