G.I. Joe Classified Series

It's like 2022 all over again!

EDIT: Hot on the heels of our "Target doesn't stock Joes" chat, pictures on Reddit showing the new Mindbender Retro wave and new Blowtorch/Footloose wave both found at Target.

The amount of paint apps Blowtorch has is fantastic for the price point. And this isn't even counting his accessories!

His head sculpt looks a lot like our favorite fictional serial killer, Dexter. Breaker's upper body with Spirit's legs could make for an easy kitbash.

For those of you with the Retro Viper, is it really noticeable with the blues and reds when standing amongst the Viper set Vipers?

I'm colorblind so... grain of salt here... he stands out a lot compared to the others, for me.

The 3-pack? Don't have the old ones anymore, but yes it will jump out. Reds are so vibrant and pure on the retro. Blues I did notice, but it blends better than the CI Viper vs 3 Pack.

3 Pack overall just has a dustier/muted look to me.

I didn't preorder Mindbender, but likely would've bought him in-store, so of course Target has two Vipers and one R&R. My timing was off. I'm usually a morning shopper, but today was mid-afternoon.

In my area it seems like Walmart, Target, and maybe even GameStop are more likely to stock carded Joes rather than boxed. Do retailers prefer cards? Maybe Classified should go all carded next year for non-deluxe?

The three pack he COMPLETELY stands out. The single-release viper is about as different as the retro trooper was from the standard. So, noticeable, but not like he felt like he doesn't belong.

@Damien @altcunningham @docsilence thank you guys for responding! Damn, that's what I was afraid of. I saw a review of the retro guy where they compared him to the others, and the lighting really made the blue and red look closer than I originally thought, but oh well. With the infantry guy, I could just get the original release and put the retro gear on him to get him to match well, but the Viper isn't that easy with the sleeves and the armguards. Big fat ah well, but it's money well not-spent.

I can get you some side by side shots tonight if that'd help.
