G.I. Joe Classified Series

someone who'd built a Cobra sub that was at least as long as an adult man.

I feel like you set this up just for me.

I know exactly the one "that's not a toy, that's the size of furniture" Haslab that would get me, and it's not GI Joe (I say this as I am about to receive my third Joes Haslab). It's the Millennium Falcon. I'd build an addition onto my own house for a 1/12 scale Falcon. And I hope they NEVER do it, cos Christ on a crutch I'd be in trouble.
I don't need that myself, and I've actually avoided all the HasLabs so far. But the two that MIGHT get me would be a Conquest and an X-Wing. I've always had a soft spot for the cool-looking sci-fi dogfighters. And those two are franchise icons for me, even if for most people it's the Skystriker where Joe is concerned.

If they did that and they did it full accessible inside and accurate (i know it's impossible to fit the interior set inside the exterior set/model, anyone else familiar with the old Ship of Riddles site? It was my absolute favorite thing in the internet when I first started we surfing heh) then that was be so tempting. Perhaps more tempting, for me and possibly few others, would be a properly scaled and fully detailed Slave One. That is the one haslab I would unquestionably HAVE to find a way.

Speaking of the Millennium Falcon - I'd be really okay with an official cockpit diorama or something like that. Also an Emperor's Throne Room diorama. Just pieces that are impressive but still technically small enough for something like a cube shelf.

I've been working up the nerve and clearing space to bring a Defiant down from the top storage shelf. I can't see it because it was covered to keep out dust. Two things I'm dreading: discoloration and broken wheels. I didn't know weight and sag was an issue when I stored it away.

Ooh, yeah. A lot of Defiants haven't held up well over time, unfortunately. Take it out and enjoy it while you can.

A cockpit or a bit of a diorama with the gaming table and I'd be thrilled. As much as I would dream of a fully functioning Falcon, I would need a top tier movie deal on one of my books to have the space for it, but a couple of smaller internal pieces of the ship? Heck yeah.

I just remembered this is the Joe Classified thread, so I'll twist that around and say I'd be into the idea of some dio sets for G.I. Joe, but I don't really know what would be useful, but also kind of iconic to the brand. We're getting, or already got?, that Cobra tower thing, right? Is there really anything scenery-related that people would immediately recognize? Even the internals of the Flagg, like the watchtower on it or something wouldn't really scream 'G.I. Joe' unless you already know what you're looking at.

I always liked their command centers, with the keyboards with massive keys that looked like they were made by Playschool or something.

Just eyeballing that mobile command center, the Classified version might be, what, 18-21 inches tall? Even if you went a little roomier, maybe 24 inches tall? (Guessing, based on Chuckles in that doorway, each level is a little higher than the figures' heads.)

I LOVED that command center as a a kid. LOVED.

I know we have one en route, but I really wish they'd do more with the mini-playsets the ARAH stuff had, the sandbags and bivouacs and stuff. Something small you could use to make a shelf display look really slick. I mean I'd love a huge playset too, but they could easily scratch the playset itch with a few more like the Cobra one we're getting (which I don't think is particularly standout, but it's a good first attempt).
