G.I. Joe Classified Series

Is another HasLab even feasible in this new economic climate?

That's a REALLY great point.

If they ever did a 1/12 Black Hawk (not the Tomahawk, but a straight Black Hawk, or even a Joed-up version of a Black Hawk), that's the one vehicle I'd probably put effort into figuring out the money and space for.
Now that you mention a Black Hawk specifically, it's strange that with the various military lines going that we haven't seen a third party solution.

Or a Huey, even.

You're right. That's just me and my crazy hypothetical bullshit.
We had a situation this year at work where an oil company mistakenly delivered heating oil to our building rather than the place across the street. They sent us a passive aggressive letter about how it could be against the law to keep the oil and not pay. Luckily, I didn't really have to deal with it because the company president is a chill guy and said pay them. The timing was bonkers because the delivery took place about a week before our actual oil company installed a new tank. They had to pump out the oil from the old tank for disposal and was surprised we had so much left in the tank. A couple weeks later we knew why. Anyways, the whole situation reminded me of neca and TMNT.

Considering Hasbro didn't go through with the price increase they hinted at, and the courts blocked some more of the tariffs (as if Trump will listen to them). I can see Hasbro feeling more confident in trying another Classified Haslab.

The question is will they stick with their original plans or pivot to something that can be offered for less and handle a possible hit to the profits should there be further tariffs at the time of delivery? I would hope they go a bit cheaper/smaller this time around instead of the constant price creep/shrinkflation that seems to be happening.

Also with people being so unsure of how things are going I don't know that offering a $400US+ Haslab is the right idea for right now. Guess we'll see either during Yo Joe June or SDCC.

I thought there were rumors of no new Haslab for 2025 and those were sometime between the end of the Rattler campaign and before the tariffs situation. I would've been more inclined to to back the Rattler if I had known 2025 would be skipped and I'm a little jealous right now because this will be the first major Joe item I've missed. Although, I don't know where I would put it. I was going to pull out a 3.75 Republic Gunship from a tote, but put it right back in the box because I didn't want to deal with that wingspan.

I'm hoping it's like the Giant Man Haslab — a less "bells and whistles" item that lands at about $200. It makes much more sense these days. Could that be a Snowcat that sticks closer to the original release without electronics and three or four figures? It seems like it can.

I'd be fine with a more basic Snowcat. The projecting lights and such are cool the first and only time I ever use them but after that they never come on again.

Wild. Your company president is definitely an easier-going guy than me. I would have been raging and telling them we're going after them for trespassing and tampering with our equipment, etc etc.
We had a material delivery once that wasn't our material and it took like an hour to get the driver to just take it away. It was hilarious because the forklift is ours, so it's not like that truck was ever getting unloaded unless I said so. Not sure why the driver was so adamant that he is not taking the material back to the warehouse that's literally a 7 minute drive from our shop. It was labelled for a different fucking company and all I said was 'I'm not unloading someone else's materials into my shop - go back and get the delivery that's actually for me.' People are nuts.

Y'know... I really would rather a smaller scale (Giant Man style) Haslab for the Snowcat. What I REALLY want is a $150-ish retail version with Frostbite, but if they gotta go Haslab because of the risk factor, a $200 version, minimal bells and whistles, with Frostbite to start and an extra figure or two to sweeten the deal would be far more appealing than a $450 version with like, roaring engines, working headlights, etc.

Yeah, cannot deal with anything $300+ these days. No space. Skip the electronics. Keep the price down. $200 max on a Snow Cat, but it should include at least Frostbite and a generic troop decked out in arctic gear. Swap heads on if necessary.

Generic snow trooper would be a great idea and would probably hook a lot of us for FOMO. Do it like the Rattler's copilot/gunner.

Man, I have never, ever, ever made use of the electronics on these things. The fact that I don't use them and I worry about what aging electronics do in storage always make them a detractor for stuff. I feel like I gotta be twice as careful with where I display stuff if it's got wires'n stuff inside. A $200, even $225 Snow cat with its biggest, fanciest features being working treads? Three figures to go with it? Sure, you got me tomorrow. $450 and it roars like a literal tiger when you flip a switch? C'mon. Tap the breaks, Hasbro. :)
