G.I. Joe Classified Series

"We heard your complaints about electronic features, and will be removing them from future Haslabs. In return, we will include twice the "decals" and patches!"
I have also used zero decals, because I don't trust myself to apply them correctly.

Maybe I'll pick up an extra Quick Kick to put the additional gear on.
I recently snagged an extra Quick Kick on the cheap and you have given me an idea.

Also I wouldn't mind if the Classified team came up with a horse "pet" to go along with Budo. Lots of possible reuse for a horse mold.

I did have his figure but never knew what to do with him. I really like the options with this guy though, and how they really made him both militaristic AND samurai ish just with his regular gear.

You guys talking about using a different figure for the extra gear that comes with Budo, thanks for the idea. Just snagged an Action Sailor on discount for this purpose. Wouldn't have crossed my mind otherwise.

Hilarious how many white dudes dressed as ninjas and samurais in Joe ranks.
I kept collecting all the way through Ninja Force, and some of those file cards are . . . wow. Ralph Baducci is definitely the one that stuck in my head all these years and I guffawed when they had to throw it on the packaging.

I always thought Budo was Japanese-American though. Storm Shadow was born in California too wasn't he?

And yes, Tommy “Storm Shadow” Arashikage is from San Francisco.

I remember him from only one issue of the comics, and can only picture him throwing gear on when he and a couple other newbs had to jump out of bed to go on a mission.

Always liked Budo. While a Joe wearing a samurai helmet is kinda silly, his design just works. Muted, earthy colors. Semi-tactical look. And samurai helmets are just cool, so he was a favorite of mine.

I'm thinking the extra armor could work on a regular Cobra Trooper. The red accents could play well against blue, as that totally fits the Cobra color scheme.

There's no way a Classified Snow Cat would be $150-200. The original is just as big as the HISS. Hell, it probably has more presence and more going on than the original HISS. Granted the Classified HISS is spruced up, but why wouldn't they do the same with if they made a Snow Cat? A Classified Snow Cat would have to not have electronics, no figures, and maybe even shrunk down compared to the HISS being beefed up. I just don't see it costing out at $200.

If a Classified Snow Cat was made, I think it would be neat if the white parts were removable and it came with alternate green parts. So maybe they white areas aren't solid, large pieces but panels. Swap them out to green, so you could have a non-Arctic version. May make it more useful, since we really don't have much snow-themed yet in the line.

I am torn a bit on the future of Classified vehicles, especially large/Haslab ones. A Joe tank would be appealing. And frankly, I'd love a Conquest, since a Skystriker would be too large. A massive WHALE would be cool. As would a Moray. But realistically, it's all too much once added together. I would rather start seeing more small-medium sized vehicles.

Sky Hawk (already have the Fans Hobby one, but a Hasbro one would be great too)
Devil Fish
Polar Bear ski-mobile (bring on more snow-themed stuff)
FANG

Considering I already own two versions of Senshi from Action Force who comes with Samurai styling for the helmet at least, Budo won't feel as out of place.
