G.I. Joe Classified Series

Do you need a HISS tank?

I ended up getting one not too long after it released. I didn't pay much over retail for it. The guy mostly wanted the Cobra Commander which I didn't care about knowing the retro one was coming.

Gotcha. I have a second sealed HISS that I definitely want to unload. I ordered it in a "symmetrical display" phase I was in, where I wanted at least two of each trooper or vehicle. I've since abandoned that idiosyncrasy as my display space has quickly dwindled. Very poor judgment on my part.

I'm sure we're all constantly evolving and shifting focus etc.

I don't want any of the vehicles, but always want at least one figure from all of them. I'd take a retro release of any of the HISS figures, but would like Wild Weasel, pilot Baroness, and Glenda as well. I can live without any of them though.

I only regret the HISS because I haven't had the time to properly do anything with it to really make it look great on a shelf or to get some fun photos of it. It's currently in the studio aiming guns up at the Dragonfly but not where it gets seen as much as I'd like.

Oh man, One Cobra ground vehicle, one Joe air, one Cobra air... we're getting a Good Guy HISS equivalent next, aren't we.

I have buyer's remorse on the ONE HISS I have displayed. Especially after seeing what they did with the VAMP as a regular retail release. I would have much preferred a HISS without all the bells and whistles for a much more affordable price.

My GI Joe displays are in the most need of being upgraded to a larger spot. It's going to be tough fitting the Rattler in as it is now.

For the next one I just need some sort of snow terrain vehicle. I don't know GI Joe vehicle names well enough to know what that would be called, but it's what I want.

I'd love to get some small snowmobiles at regular retail also.

Snow Cat? That seems really likely, but it's another one that some may not be happy with the bells and whistles etc. I assume they'll make the back larger to fit people inside.

Also it would make sense since Frostbite, the driver, is another on my wishlist and continue my pattern.

yeah and the snowmobiles seem likely to me as well. Maybe next year they'll have more of an arctic theme? Coincide the Polar Bear (the vehicle, not the massive beast) with a Snowcat haslab, and some snow characters in the mainline as well.

I remember speculation about a suped up Snowcat a while back. I'd love one but I don't want it to be overwrought - like Norm, I kinda wish the HISS was simpler with fewer bells and whistles and I wouldn't want the 'cat to be too overdone. Pulling the HISS off the shelf feels like a commitment, but pulling the Vamp or Stinger down feels like fun. (I mean the HISS is beautiful, but if the Vamp starts rolling away I don't panic.)

I bought the Dragonfly for Glenda. I figured it would be cheaper to just move everything else (knowing my local scene) than just buy Glenda off the aftermarket.

And at least for the first month I was correct. I profited and kept Glenda.

I plan to repeat that with the Rattler.

We did have a Rattler in my house, so maybe nostalgia will win out, but realistically I just don't want that space eaten up. But my dad was a fighter pilot, so maybe...

The real deal breaker on the Dragonfly for me was that it wasn't the type of chopper for Ripcord and Airborne to be jumping out of, let alone Wolf Spider hanging out on the harness.

That's a REALLY great point.

If they ever did a 1/12 Black Hawk (not the Tomahawk, but a straight Black Hawk, or even a Joed-up version of a Black Hawk), that's the one vehicle I'd probably put effort into figuring out the money and space for.
