Yeah we're getting some mixed signals between the flare gun and taser. Are we rescuing or forcing compliance? I'm glad we have options, I'll probably give the flare guns to my divers.

I love these ideas about Shockwave. NF Shockwave's head would look amazing on these cops, same with CI Firefly. Looking tweaked out, almost like he's on anabolic steroids.
 
All good ideas, but yeah I love that Firefly head so much. I was definitely thinking IF I get one, I wanna put a masked head on there. Maybe something along the lines of the resolute guy

Now seeing the test figure with the hat on, I think the Joe team made the quintessential modern Gotham City Police officer. Just has that vibe. Honestly the thing that feels most fictional about him to me is that he's wearing blue. I can't remember the last time I saw a cop in anything but 100% tacti-cool "don't fuck with me" black.

What do we expect might be next for the legacy line? We've got fire and police, maybe an EMT?

It looks to me like the cop and the green shirt grunt share the exact same head sculpts, with minor paint differences.
(I don't know if that's been discussed yet as I'm typing this at the bottom of the page the 2 responses to my request were given)

I loooove the Resolute designs, in general. Those are easily, by leaps and bounds, my favorite versions of any of the characters after the ARAH stuff. In fact, I think Resolute is the only time I've even liked the basic Cobra Trooper.

Both of the white bros look like the same potato-dude with different hair color, but that may just be because they both look so (intentionally?) bland. I do think the black portraits seem pretty different, the cop head is particularly expressive and seems to have a different hairstyle (slightly longer) and facial hair as opposed to the greenshirt’s light stubble. I *hope* the heads are different enough to diversify some of the greenshirts and cops with swapping, although I feel like I’ll be gluing down the shades on the white cops for even more faceless anonymity as canon-fodder villains.
 
I don't think the heads on green shirt and cop are the same, fwiw. It is cool that they're coming out at the same time(ish), could easily army build four of either toy this way.

Mostly posting here because my Blowtorch got bumped up from July to...TOMORROW?!?! woah. hasn't shipped yet so I'm not holding my breath, but still, neat surprise. Classified figure of the year on it's way? We'll see...still gonna be hard to top Zandar.

EDIT: Okay, Gmail is just messing with me. In the big blue box it says Expected Tomorrow, but Amazon says June 26th. This system gmail has set up to jump to conclusions is ridiculous.

Honestly I have so many extra heads rolling around from SHIELD agents or unmasked hero heads I'm not worried about having half a dozen green shirts and four or 5 cops all looking different from each other. I have like 4 or 5 Lady Jaye figures with different heads, a couple of extra Quarrel figures with different heads and an extra Sniper... troop building via head swap is one of my favorite things to do with this line.

I had this happen with Footloose last week. I was very excited for like a day or two lol
 
The only store I've seen carry even remotely-recent figures is Gamestop, but haven't seen Zandar there. At least he's available online. Dial Tone...no idea if he's going to be available again. Pulse had him up briefly about a week ago for pre-order again but he's long gone. Would be nice if he became available again, he looks more fun than I thought with other weapons/gear.
