G.I. Joe Classified Series

The first name that jumped to mind is Captain Thinskin. (It's legitimately driving me nuts that I can't find the glamor shots easier - my Google-Fu is usually better than this, but "GI Joe Action Officer" could not be a more generic search term to start with...)

I wonder what the debrief will be like after the preorder cancellation and looking back at the approval process.

"Let's do a subline of super-realistic soldiers!"
"Cool! Sailor/diver? All black suit?"
"Badass."
"Infantryman, desert camo?"
"Bingo."
"HALO jumper? All parts reuse?"
"AMAZING. Three for three, all save on sculpting with existing parts, this is such a good idea."
"Sniper?"
"..."
"What if we make the sniper a woman."
"That softens it a little bit, let's do that."
"What if we do a fireman?"
"EVERYONE loves a firefighter!"
"How about a riot cop?"
"What could go wrong?"
June 2025
"Oh."

No. I actually have a document... Ah Christ... I have a document keeping track of parts reused across the line (thanks to hisstank) just so I can know which head may fit on other necks. Otherwise, I'll try to switch necks as well.
It's okay. You're in a safe place here. *shows spreadsheet*

Man, I pre-ordered so much on Pulse the past two months, and now the Awe Striker is alternating between an error and accusing me of being a bot.

Le sigh.
This usually happens to me when I don't use the top address when checking out. I don't know why but when I checkout I have several addresses displayed. I have noticed when I don't select the top address I have these issues. I had selected the third address when trying to pre-order the ghostbusters figures last weekend and simply just gave up and left them in my cart. I also noticed sometimes I get an error message when I try to checkout with my VPN on. Here lately though that hasn't been happening.

Massively appreciate that, heh.

Anyone want to see the hisstank thread where they break it down:

But there's some amendments and corrections along the way, which is why I made my own document which is also something I can easily search for specific figures on. They also haven't updated that in several months now.

If you ever want to make it a public document, it might be fun to contribute to, I do a fair amount of swaps and enjoy breaking down the parts on new, previewed figures. No pressure!

Man, it's sure fun talking about these figures. Really like that Policeman has the belt and vest as separate pieces, so glad they're going this route and hope every figure has this moving forward.

I thought everything was called off today after the stream was canceled. I just placed a preorder for the Awe Striker.

Hasbro didn't put up a preorder for the cop, but they can show a picture of Crank Case in the midst of a hit and run involving a Viper taking a serene walk through some mountainous terrain? If I'm not mistaken a hit and run is illegal in every civilized country and the United States.

It's funny, I can't keep a spreadsheet up to date to save my life, but I've got a whacky memory for detail and if you asked me to put hands on the accessories for any character in a line I've collected in the last ten years I could find it in minutes in the house. Except Spider-hands, I cannot tell one set of red webslinger hands from another and never will. Hell, I committed to memory whose gear kit Gung-Ho's current rifle came from so I can put it back later.

For some reason the fact that the cop comes with a taser is the thing that chaps my ass the most. Doc coming with one because he refuses to carry a gun is in character and cool (I could picture a scene where the force him to carry one and he's like you do realize under no circumstances am I ever going to unholster this, right?), but I don't like it at all here. Guessing they've got pepper spray molded onto their belts too (99% sure Mutt has that?).

There is no way this is Crank Case's first hit and run. Not even his first this year.
