Because this is no longer a 'look at the newest thing you can buy, kids!' brand and has transitioned to a 'remember this, grown-ups?' brand. The collector action figure market for these big brands is always going to rely very heavily on nostalgia bait. But I am super excited to see them creating NEW things for Joe (and other brands) and I really do hope that continues to be something they do at least every couple of waves from here on out.why not go back to that formula.
