I'm not far off from you on this, honestly. I've been an obsessive about the novel for decades, and have long been the "well, ackshually..." guy about Dracula! I've long wanted novel accurate toys, and still desire to see it adapted into a movie or series that faithfully adapts it.

I'm so ridiculous, I once pissed off Dacre Stoker when I told him on social media that his "sequel" completely betrayed his ancestor's work. Yeah...I'm "that guy" on this topic.

It's bad enough I already want an extra Maxilius The Harvester for a stripped down skeleton because I missed the $25 ones, but now I'm gonna need more Turpiculi, too!? You bastard. 😏
 
So I got the dark ogre scaled knight Berodach from BBTS yesterday (FedEx Sunday delivery for the win), and he's amazing.

I might need to get the "good" ogre knight in white when he hits the normal channels.

Yeah both the ogre knights are awesome! Love the intricate armor on them. And their helmet designs are amongst my favorite in Mythic Legions.

So I got my "I shoulda got his horse too" Deacon from BBTS today to go with Enoch and man, I don't know how I ended up accidentally building a squad of templars but Enoch, Elijah, one generic red and white templar, and over the past few years I picked up one each of the black-on-white templar army builder and the white-on-black one. Part of me is a lil iffy on the whole historical homage but part of me wants these guys looking for the Holy Grail. I've got a bit of head canon that Enoch is on one last quest and grooming Elijah to be his successor, but now I need some unmasked heads for the other three.

Anyone have any luck with third-party pre-painted heads? I mean I CAN paint heads, I've got a studio full of Vallejo paint, but I kinda specialize in knights that are under 32 mm tall.

(Also I know Deacon is just the first horse with more bling, but the bling is really nice. Though I continually worry that if the shelf gets too humid the red will bleed onto the white on the fabric.)

One last stupid question from someone who has been on horseback for movie roles but really know NOTHING about horses - Deacon comes with a red blanket thing, and Bishop with a blue one. Any idea what those do?

Got my order of two Silver Knights today. Maybe I should have ordered more. They came out great. Bright silver armor, the nicely articulated newer armored body and a bunch of accessories for at least two distinctive looks. Great army builder.

I do love that they are using and reusing the new knight body a LOT but almost none of them feel repetitive. The silver knight feels different from Elijah and Enoch, and they're different from Andrew, and from Aldaric, and really different from Gideon. Lots of flavo with color choices and kit loadouts.

That's correct. It's just 'nicely trimmed' or 'fringe-trimmed' variations of saddle blankets.

Grabbed three and feel I should've grabbed a couple more. My only complaint is I wish they'd have included another faceplate. I'm more of a "visor up" guy, especially with these recent head sculpts.

It does give me a reason to pick up another Sir Elijah and a Sir Aldaric, I suppose. Not sure what other face plates are out there. It seems like a pretty recent development.

Elijah and Enoch have a different face plate type. Those chain mail heads are different than the helmeted head faceplates. Andrew and Aadalric should work though (plus his skeleton face).
