Forum Feedback

Yep. Regardless of the state of the Fwoosh forums, I'm here to stay.
Me too. I was already pretty pissed at the lack of communication from Pabs about anything. I also think it is a bit too coincidental that as soon as someone makes a new forum, he suddenly decides it is time to fix it. Not that I think it will last long before breaking again.

I've been messing around with the menu. I find that modern web platforms want to hyperlink you to death when the reality is people like to read as little as possible. I tried to remove the redundancies and simplify it.

If any buttons you were using are gone now, let me know and I can re-add them or point you in the right direction.

From my perspective, the site is basically done. I'll tweak as needed and address any issues, but it'll largely look like this moving forward.

Just wanted to say thanks for doing this. I have been at Fwoosh for 20 years or close to it and it was bizarre whenever it went down. I thought it might finally be down for good this last time, but every time this happens it seems like fewer people return and it already was far from its height. It's great to have a place to talk toys. I just can't get used to Discord, Reddit, etc. I'm an old.

I think a lot of us are olds now. Funny, when I joined Fwoosh I was in my 20's, didn't have any kids and was engaged. Now I'm 50, have two kids (one driving and looking at colleges) and my 20th wedding anniversary is coming up. What the hell happened? Feels like yesterday that I found my action figure collecting tribe.

Every time you guys talk about joining in your 20s I feel like a fish out of water. I joined right before I turned 20, but I'm still just 23! Everyone else is hitting 50! I wouldn't have it any other way, though.

Well at least there will be someone here to turn the lights off after we are all gone.

I was still a teenager when I joined the Fwoosh 20+ years ago (2003 I think? I hate that we lost our original accounts during one of the long-ago crashes). Now I'm a spry young 37 year-old who also hates Discord and Reddit (though I use the latter more than I care to admit...).

Lack of cummunication, missing forum features, going down all the time, for longer and longer each time.

Yeah, I might check Fwoosh just to see if I am missing something but TSI has created a wonderful place, so I'm laying my sleeping bag down here.

Watch your step.

Since I've been able to log back into Fwoosh I've found myself literally just hitting the One a Day thread in the Marvel forum then dipping out and coming back to these forums. That's really the only thing I miss not having here. Otherwise, we've got the core group of people I know and love and the discussions here are different somehow.
