Big Bad Workshop General

Just occurred to me that I should, if I'm being responsible, wait for Elric to show up at BBTS to ship, but actually I bet if I ship my POL tomorrow they'll charge me for Elric on Sunday.

Spent the early part of the morning sitting by my window waiting for Fed Ex to show up, spent the later half of the morning swapping parts all around these guys. I got no complaints, they're great.

Now to wait on Skeletron, work on my Red Jackal, and hope we get a Kraken. (And I guess a MUTON, but between the name and the overall design, he was never a huge demand of mine)

As many of you know, I am in fact lame, and generally steer towards "vintage accurate" over "updated and interesting" so I realized I could swap some parts around on Exterminator and Legionnaire to have a more toned down Red Laser. I dig him. But also like that how I have a zombie with web gear.

Also now have this pile of wolf parts that I'll probably never use

So far I've been able to resist the urge to build a Crimson Shadow unit simply because I don't have any attachment to the 80s line.

But if nothing else, I think Major Noir is a dope-looking figure and I love the energy of Ironmoon's bucket helmet. I could see myself getting Noir and letting him wear the bucket, just cherry pick my favorite parts. Then I'd have to get a couple troopers to back him up.

Have I mentioned how much I fucking hate the modern trend of having to announce that you will be making an announcement? I'm sick of people announcing a video game with JUST a title and 'more to come' and then you get a teaser trailer telling you that in six months there will be a REAL trailer, and then the trailer comes out to tell you that the THING comes out another year from now. It's like.. just fuck off. Tell me when the thing is imminent and otherwise shut the fuck up.

That's because they don't have the staff and funding to actually do it, so they tell you what the project is to entice applicants and talent who are interested. It's technically for the industry and investors.

I'm sure you know this, but it's so eye rolling to me I always like to share it.

I hope that is not the case for toys.
