Personally the hands don’t bother me. But historically, I see their point. As for the rest of that costume, I don’t see anything racist there. He just looks like a goofy Silver-Age villain to me. I’m also unclear what you mean regarding the beard.

Well, if they know the vitriol heading their way, then they know someone screwed up. So maybe the fans need to behave better, but if they know what’s coming, then I have to assume that Hasbro has done something to earn it.

Is there anything overtly racist about this version, other than the hands? And the hands could easily be replaced by normal hands, with rings.

The new/retro costumes are just an easy and perfectly logical way to sell more figures. If they’re doing different storylines as quickly as they have been, then I expect to see more costume changes.

I’m quite willing to give Mattel a chance. I’m enjoying the MOTU Masterverse/New Eternia figures. I just hope they don’t make it as hard for me to give them my money as Todd does.

I understand they’re here, they are part of Wolverine’s history. But they will never make sense. Thick bone claws will never fit into thin adamantium blades. It didn’t make sense then and it doesn’t now. PAD having passed away recently doesn’t change that.

It’s an easy win. Just don’t say he always had them. If they absolutely had to give him bone claws, then say it was his healing factor’s reaction to having the adamantium ripped out of him. It doesn’t make any less sense than what they went with.

I hope not. Just release the figures individually so someone isn’t forced to buy something they don’t want in order to get something they do want.

This picture shows why I dislike him having bone claws. They are thicker than his adamantium ones, which shouldn’t be possible if his claws were always bone laced with adamantium, the same as the rest of his skeleton.

Do we know how big the upcoming Superboy figure is going to be? For instance, appropriate-sized for a teen or hulking giant?

I knew that about other figures, but for some reason I thought the Jackman Wolverine figures were larger.

That Jackman head looks oddly small on the Gamerverse body. I would have expected it to be too big.
