Ok, so my Crossbones came with two left trigger hands...

Never had that happen before, what's the standard procedure? Just send back to Amazon?

Otherwise the set looks cool, just a bummer about the hands.

I probably would send back to Amazon, especially if you're asking for replacement. You'll probably have to do a refund then reorder, but I'd feel better about how it looks if I asked for a replacement at least. Because I care what people who really don't give a shit except they get to clock out in ten minutes think of me.

Surprisingly well! We have a big toy show here twice a year and I have found a lot of the exclusives that way. The mark up is no worse than paying for shipping really. I have occasionally used a prepaid Visa before to order stuff online too. I only take $90 every two weeks when i get paid for fun money. When it's gone it's gone. Sometimes the issue is just too much all at once coming out. If it's a must have I usually find away. Gamestop is my favorite way to get stuff most of the time since it only takes $5 down on preorders and can be paid on while waiting to come in. I have gotten a lot that way. Just did that with the Cap/Venom Gamerverse 2 pack. I am not missing out on a bit bulkier Cap with butterfly joints!

Yea, I’d just request a replacement from Amazon. They ask you to send the other one back within a month or something, but the replacement gets shipped immediately so you can mix and match which figures ended up better before sending a set back.

Yeah, this is what I'll do. Aside from the hands this set looks great though. Really happy with it all things considered.
 
Random aside, Masque's hair is sculpted such that she can actually look up a lot more than you'd expect. Not too shabby.
 
Trying to check out Hasbro Pulse for Mephisto and it keeps erroring out. Ordered the X-Men ‘97 figures from BBTS because of that.

I think a lot of people have been having issues with Pulse but for some reason I haven't. I remember reading something about the phone number being an issue and having to retype that.
 
Thanks for the tip. Tried it a few ways and didn’t work. Not worried about this one because he’s made to order and will be open for like a month I think. Just a miss on Hasbro’s because a non-zero number of people will get frustrated and not ever check out.

At least there’s no rush for Mephisto.

Got my Crossbones/Masque set. Pretty cool overall. Really good updates.

Masque is kind of bare bones. Aside from the new heads she’s 100% SHIELD agent body, heads, hands, and even belt. I like the classic masked head a lot- the hair’s got a great sculpt that doesn’t get in the way of posing or have an extreme windswept look. Bad case of swirly gold plastic syndrome though. The modern head has a great paint application for the “mask” but it is weirdly marred by the sculpt. It’s sculpted like her face is a mask and the flesh part sits in front of her hair. There’s no hairline at all but it looks ok from a distance. I really like the briefcase.

Crossbones is solid. He’s Luke cage upper body with a Hercules lower body. New combat gear, boots, gloves, and head. Certainly the best Crossbones out there now. He managed to mish-mash a lot of his modern outfits since the Brubaker Cap run. The grey’s a little light for my liking. He came with that weird explosion Bushwacker came with and a few lackluster guns. I dunno what it is about Crossbones figures, but they always end up reusing guns that just don’t seem right.
