Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

I was really curious about that visor too. I hope it is removable. I also was wondering what the head from the vintage collection Skeletor would look like on the Terror Claws figure.

Speaking of Skeletor variants, I wonder how long until we get Dragon Blaster Skeletor in New Eternia style in the Masterverse line. DB Skeletor is always a favorite of mine. I love the little red Dragon with him. The MOTU Classics version was amazing! So, I can't wait to see how they handle it in this line.
Same. I don't really collect MOTU outside Masterverse but I find that Skeletor infinitely charming and he has a permanent place in my heart. DB Skeletor cannot be denied! We need him and his little baby dragon backpack buddy.

Visor is absolutely removable!!

This is a FIERCE Skeletor. The Terror Claws have cool ball-joint wrists, the whole figure is just awesome.
Ninjor is also great, very intimidating. I think he looks best with the oni mask. There’s lots of subtle detail in the sculpt.
She-Ra is a total Valkyrie and it’s neat to get a more Wonder Woman-like She-Ra. She definitely doesn’t skip leg day.

Man At Arms is a good one. I like the vintage look where he has no mustache or beard. Surely beast Man, Mer-Man, and Teela won't be far behind to finish off the original 8.

I haven't really liked any of the Masterverse MAAs so I hope this one has something the others were lacking. Like a lot of weapons that he can store on his pack like Classics would do the job, even better if there's multiple heads, too. It's a shame the New Eternia figure was pretty boring compared to a lot of the other designs. I mean just the green and orange color scheme is enough to make me want to throw up; they missed a chance to do something interesting. Even the Turtles of Grayskull color scheme looks way better.

I love the New Eternia Man At Arms! It’s my favorite Masterverse version they’ve done.

Yeah, he's a great figure. Not sure what a Vintage Collection will do differently. But he should be an easy pass, just like Beast Man. New Eternia versions of both those characters work well for me.

Man-at-Arms has always been one of my very least favorite MOTU characters. When I was a kid we had one of those huge prickly holly bushes in the front yard and I tossed him right into the middle of it and never looked back.

The holly bush is still there and I pass the old place every day on the way to work and I imagine he is still down there somewhere.

Official pics of Blade are up. Looks like he has horizontal wrist hinges. I really don't understand why Mattel employees are so consistently bad at making action figures. Just the easiest shit is absolutely beyond them.

Blade looks good. I love that he comes with the red laser whip as well as the two swords. Wrist hinge issue aside, are you still going to get Blade Damian?

Oh yeah - I have no choice. And at this point I've basically accepted that Mattel is a joke of a toy company that will always manage to pull a whiff out of a sure-fire slam dunk. But as much as I'll rage about it, it's still -relatively- minor in the grand scheme of things and there's no way I can resist having my favorite MOTU bad guy join the so-slowly expanding collection of movie figures.

The timeline does show, if not laziness, then cheapness.
---
2022 - Vintage He-Man comes out. He has a vertical-hinged right hand.
2025 - Blade released with horizontal hinges because they're still reusing arms and didn't bother remaking the "standard" gripping hand with a vertical hinge.
---
At this point you just hope figures have new hands, like Ninjor, where they did give him a vertical hinge on his sword hand. Old parts are tainting newer figures. This is classic Mattel - WWE Elite figures have been reusing parts for 15 years now.

I was thinking, and they don't need to make too many more characters to have covered every unique character from the vintage 80's collection. Blade will go up for pre order soon, and then Mosquitor, Mantenna, and a Snake Man (was it Kobra Khan?) is on the way in future waves.

So that just leaves the rest of the Snake Men, Rokkon, Stonedar, Blast Attack, Dragstor, Extendar, Rio Blast, Modulok, Multi Bot, and Saurod. I didn't count the two Tops Rotar and Twistoid and I didn't count variations. But even if you add those they are almost done.

Some characters that have been made though, I do wish they'd make again as either New Eternia or Vintage Collection, like Prince Adam for instance. But still, they've covered most characters between New Eternia, Revelations/Revolution, Movie, and Vintage Collection.

I won’t be done until we get a New Eternia Scare-Glow done in similar style to the most recent Mondo release that paired with Scare-Mare. And also a Vintage Scare-Glow. Yes. Must have.

Yeah we need another proper glow in the dark Scareglow, although I'd want two! One, like you said, that's a little more grim reaper-inspired for New Eternia, but also one on the new Vintage body with a classic look but cast in GITD plastic with black bones painted on. Glow in the dark paint just doesn't cut it.

EDIT: Lmao reading Ace's post I pretty much just said the same things. Got toy-excited and didn't finish reading. 😂
