Mr. Ana de Armas
And BTAS Ivy ain't even Timm's, that was Lynn Naylor.
A shamefully underrated team that is always getting overlooked. The 70's came along and creators like Denny O'Neil, Neal Adams, Steve Englehart and Marshall Rogers took Batman back to his pulp roots.
you and i just became best friends cause Doug Moench is my absolute favorite Bat writer because of this period.I'm also a fan of Doug Moench. I was reading his arc with Gene Colan and Don Newton that introduced Nocturna. Good writing, good art, but with Batman bouncing between Vicci Vale, Alfred's pre-Crisis daughter, and Nocturna (who is in a love triangle with Batman and her criminal step brother) as well as court room Jason Todd adoption drama, the soap opera meter was about as high as any superhero comic I've ever read. Still liked it.
Marshall Rogers might be my favorite Batman artist. Close call between him and the even more overlooked Norm Breyfogle. Adams also in the mix.A shamefully underrated team that is always getting overlooked.

Honestly, this is my "please before I shuffle off this mortal coil, let this happen" wish. I feel like I've been chasing a Batman that looks good next to a Legends Daredevil since I started collecting as an adult. (And I have some good Batman figures! But I just don't have two lines that look like they're operating by the same rules of physics. I want Cap and Superman to hang out on a shelf together and look natural, too.)All this talk about classic iconic Batman creative teams has me really wishing we had a Legends-compatible DC line. Imagine if we had had that since 2002 and our Batman & his Rogues shelf was as full as our Spidey & his Rogues shelf, and our top ten lists were filled with team completers like Kole, Bloodwynd, and Looker. I'd be broke and have no space but it would be nice!
And don't be afraid to put Robin on screen. While I don’t think Batman needs to be campy, can we get at least one live-action Batman movie is fun and a little more family friendly? something not “dark and gritty.” Just try it, please. And put a little color in his costume.
Mike Barr is such a mad lad when writing Batman. I love his and Aparo's Outsiders stuff, but Batman dgaf about heroes killing people in that.Another great team on Batman was Mike W. Barr and Alan Davis. They didn't last long but they did a great job.
like Into the Spiderverse but for Batman? While I don’t think Batman needs to be campy, can we get at least one live-action Batman movie is fun and a little more family friendly? something not “dark and gritty.” Just try it, please. And put a little color in his costume.
