Marvel Legends Gamerverse

He’s a frustrating pose - I was doing my usual Gamerverse ‘try to recreate some of the sprite’s poses’ game, and he’s making barely any. His hips and ankles don’t even allow for much of a walking/charging stance.

Buuuut, given all my figures end up on shelf in fairly vanilla poses, his heft and presence are undeniable.

That is high praise. I generally found the Select figures to be outstanding. Thank you.

To be clear I don't have him yet so my opinion is derived from other people's reviews. The linked review below is the best one I found comparing all three versions of the figure, and he went with this new version on every category except paint (he picked Select) and accessories (he picked the 2-pack with Colossus version) which I agree with.

If you were to add that AliExpress Hulk parts bootleg into the comparison that one probably wins on articulation, but I would still pick this new one overall due to the giant size factor.

It’s weird. Every review starts by saying how damn big he is. And still, upon opening him I was instantly struck by quite how damn big he is…

I may rig a bent girder for him to clutch, as per his opening animation. I’m also modding his power effect to sit on his head - it’s a decent size for that, so deciding to make it a punch effect was an odd creative decision.

I wish I could have a few DOZEN of these. The Mezco Fantastic Four set has one with a bendy-wire in it for Thing that's fabulous, but tough to army-build those with the set costing $420.

Didn’t the old colossus and juggernaut set come with a bent girder? I know I’ve seen that accessory somewhere before.

That old X-Men Classics Colossus came with the bendy I-beam. I have two of them so, I think it was also packaged with someone else at some point?

@EnigmaticClarity I just ran a few searches and actually stumbled upon a pack of 4 ABS plastic I-beams which you could conceivably heat-and-bend yourself if you're intent on adding to your display.
